Awesome!!! I remember this as the "Young Sentinels" as a Saturday morning cartoon on NBC, about 11:00 AM EST. Hercules eventually became a member of The Freedom Force. Mercury looks like Super Samurai from the Freedon Force and Astrea looks like Micro Woman from "Super Stretch and Micro Woman"...sort of. Anyway, this cartoon was awesome and sooo underrated. White black and yellow. I think they are overdoing it sometimes. Like Captain Planet and a cartoon about a super family - always a member of each race. If there is a race missing then the show is racist. I have nothing against people from different origins but sometimes it gets ridicilous. This one is fine, but if you add all cartoons with colourful race pool together you'll see what I mean.

Aka G-FORCE. in Japan they were known as Gatchaman. they aired in japan in 73 then re-edited and premeired in the states in 78. their names were changed to be more american. over the years future episodes were mre-edited and they were called Sban's Eagle riders. etc.

rubbish. battle of the planets was oh so teen angst hormone transexual shoit, space sentinels was all about ME! SENTINEL 1! getting one up on whoever was going to mess with him and his gang that day. space sentinels was cooler.
Bite your tongue. Space sentinels was great. True, not as good as battle of the planets but pretty good in comparison. That aside neither Battle of the planets or Space Sentinals have stood the test of time.

At the end of the clip it shows copright 1987.This was made the same time as He-Man & the Masters of the Universe.This is not from the 1970's.
