The way I usually catch things is to press Attack right when it hits you. I believe Shield works too, or maybe Attack while air-dodging.

Maybe stamina would have been better because instead of trying to knock your opponnent out of the arena, the game would work on a "life" type system where you can only get hit a certain amount of times before you die/lose. Just my opinion. And more Mr. Saturns would be nice. =P

Try Baseball in this game. Get a Mr. Saturn,Soccerball, or any throwable object and then a bat and I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

my fav game, I got rid of the spikes next, to use shells without actually them comming back, I do use a ice block for it so you cant ledgegrab on any way possible o_o and I do use a few more throwing items, it kinda makes it more interesting with 3 lives =O

back in the days of melee we used to play something similar, we stayed on our sides and started toughing any items that falls at the opponent, if you stepped to opponents side you'd have to commit suicide XD and you could only go to the other side if you had the starman or hammer....ahhh the times *sniff*

uhh well the bottom part of the stage doesnt really matter. all you have to do is put spikes on the sides and one in the middle and make sure the stage is near the top.
