@mjtheexperience The 3D slider controls the depth of the 3D. At first, you want to keep it low so your eyes and brain can get used to the effect. You want to gradually slide it up until you get used to the full effect ;)

I got to play with one at BestBuy. It was some crappy game they had in there but I think the system overall is amazing. It's a very unique system. I love the fact that you don't need ridiculous glasses in order to see the 3D, and I think the 3Ds' 3D is very nice. You just need to find that "sweet spot" like he said. I really want to get one, I just need to stop being a fucking bum and go out and find a job lol..

the reason the 3d seems beter on a lower setting is because the trick they use to make the 3d illusuion isnt natural to your eyes so you start out low and you can gradualy increase

The 3DS is awsome yes it needs more games but the system is still young and to count it out this early will be stupid, I cant wait to get Super Mario 3D Land and to play Mario Kart 7 against my fiancee also with games like Kid icarus, metal gear solid 3d, kingdom hearts 3d, paper mario its got a great lineup to come. and as for the second stick attachment its optional even monster hunter the game it was designed for doesnt need it lol so ppl should stop moaning. :D

@H2oFormula dude i can honestly say u wont get blind -_- after a while ur eyes get used to the 3D u wont get blind dont worry i played with the 3D for hours once and my eye sight is great still BUT dont turn on the 3D when using the camras in AR cards face raiders and the front camras it hurts ur eyes and makes them tired

@jrk987 Just because something is 3D doesn't mean it pops out at you. The 3DS basically extends the video game world beyond the second dimension (obviously) in the sense that when you look at the screen, you would feel as if you were looking through an actual hole in the video game world. This give games the realistic touch that not even Call of Duty could ever acheive. It may not sound too great an addition for the Nintendo DS, but when using the device, it's actuallly quite beautiful.

quick review for the 3ds for people who havent seen this.

3d effect: looks 3d, but only if you look at it straight, looking at it from the slightest angle starts ruining the 3d effects.

3d picture: perfect! picture quality looks good, and 3d effect is really, really good.
