  • Yesterday I was snorkeling alone by Los Cristianos, Tenerife. And I found an angel shark lying on the ground. I was thinking. What should I do. Touch it or not. I thought that it was saver to let the shark alone. Now I can see what could have happened watching this video.

  • I live on Gran Canaria (Canary Islands), and it is really funny when this kind of sharks attack you... XD This is just a american show... ;)

  • Not shark fault, he/she was disturbed minutes earlier and charge at the divers. This kind of false misleading info is one of many reasons why people dont give a damn more than 100 million sharks are slaughtered every year.

  • This is interesting to Americans beacause its outside there country which "has everything".

  • the shark allready gos on the begining in defend and warning position ^head up and mounth open ^so when from all side is divers front back then is for him not good .

you see the shark want go and all divers make like a small wall the last diver ist exakly on the front and for the sharks looks like he want block him .

    so he attack the diver.

and dont touch a angelshark on the fin when all the persons have a circel arount him . in my eyes stupid then you dont se the warning from the shark

  • @animation2105

Thank you for your comments... the fact is the divers were originally at the sides of the shark, as they were briefed to do. When the shark awoke he turned his body so he was 90º from his starting point and became trapped! He ended up biting a diver who was the furthest away... we all saw the warning signs coming but it all happened too quick to do anything about it. We all have dived with Angel sharks for many years... this was a one off event!

  • Hey Americans, that is happening to us here at the islands every week. They never bite, they charge. Thos TV shows are not reliable at all...

  • @fonorze at what islands?

  • @fonorze Gran Canaria, my name in facebook is Alfonso M. Farfan Santana, i have a lot of pic with this kind of sharks... ;) a lot...
