Snarry - Father Figure

I absolutely love this video. I have always loved the Snape/Harry Father/Son scenarios. However, it wouldn't be Snarry. If anything it would be Severitis. Snarry indicates love relationship. Severitis indicates Father/Son relationship (though it's normally used for biological father stories). Other than the confusing title, the video is absolutely amazing. It made me cry! Love the choice of song too.

I love Snape and Harry. I so think they should have sucked it up and gotten along, but alas JKR didn't write it that way. That's what fanfiction is for....anyway. I'm not a slash person. I read the humor ones for a laugh every now and again, but I must say if any slash pairing should happen it should be snarry and that is for one main reason. Which is... just to see Remus and Sirius (mostly sirius) reactions. Priceless.

We surely did not read the same last book then.

I recall the scene where Dumbledore asked Snape if he were starting to care for Harry, and Snape got angry and exclaimed it was for Lily with the famous like "Always". He has no love of Harry. To say he loved him like a son is completely non-canon.

However, you are entitled to your opinions. I just do not see how you could have come to that conclusion. Sounds more like fanfiction than the books.

I agree. There was a part as well where Snape is ranting about how he dislikes Harry. Then there's the scene you mentioned... really, he doesn't even see him like a son. Why would he want his most hated enemy's son, even if he were part of his one love, Lily's? That's probably what tortured him so much, since Harry had her eyes. :(

Also, I really appreciate it when the author uses high quality, wide screen images in their video. Makes a huge difference.

You used so many fresh images here, too. The children running in the rain, the pensieve, the train. All so evocative. And so many dreamy, beautiful shots of Harry's face.

"Father Figure"is such a lush song as well. And it's so long, but it goes very quickly.
