  • thanx alot

my problem was that i write it

    dpkg-r operamobile

    without a space

just put a space and worked ^_^

  • Hi

when i tried to remove opera from my phone by the way u mentioned it dosnt work with me

  • @MariamMalik1990 It should work. You need to be root before typing:

    dpkg -r operamobile

    or

    dpkg -P operamobile

If you are root and it's still not working is there any error message when you run the above commands?

  • if i deactivate the dev moide again, it shows a little white exclamation mark smybol next to the switch... what is that? and how do i get rid of it?

  • @TheAdio89 That's normal. It indicates the phone's security policy has been enhanced to allow installing apps from places other than the Nokia Store.

  • when i try to enable developer mode it says "can't install installation package not found" do you no why? ahah thanks anyways

  • @TuteRookies2011 I don't really have an answer and don't have the N9 anymore either. Hows your connection? You need a reliable connection (WiFi or mobile network) when enabling dev mode. If the connection is OK and it still doesn't work, it's worth trying a hard reset (backup first :))

  • @TuteRookies2011 i have this problem too .. it is not available in your country neither ovi store is ..

  • Thank you!! :)

  • Where should i save the file in when using USB?

  • @luuukk18 It doesn't matter where you save it as long as you cd to the directory where you saved it before running the dpkg command

The instructions in my blog post assume that you are saving it to /home/user/MyDocs/Downloads (which appears as /MyDocs/Downloads on a USB connected PC).

  • nex time you record videos with n9 first go to settings and set brightness on lowest possible so text will be easier to read thx

  • nice i m not developer ;)
