The song was an illistration demonstrating the topic of the series... we do sing worship songs but the band will do one song they feel connects the secular to the spirutal to help illistrate the topic descussed that day. And becuase we are willing to step out of the "church box" a little we have seen many people come to salvation who would have never steped foot into a church otherwise. They come to see the cover song and get fed a little truth in the process.
The point was made in the greater context of the whole multi-week series and the message for that week specifically. The series was called Crave and addressed those things we desire and those things we really need.
Obviously I don't expect that whole concept to be conveyed via a single youtube video, so in the meantime i hope you can just enjoy the music! Also fyi this is not a "youth" service, this is our general gathering.
