Father saw his daughter walking on street and didn't put on her Hijab, he just took a sword and simply swung the sword at the neck of daughter with full speed, the head was off.

Yes, Erzurum is in Eastern Turkey and very conservative compared to other parts of Turkey. But vast majority of Turks live in western Turkey, my city alone makes up 1/5 of Turkeys population.
FYI,people from Turkey who live in Europe are mostly from Eastern Turkey because those areas are underdeveloped and unemployement is a bigger problem there.

Father saw his daughter walking on street and didn't put on her Hijab, he just took a sword and simply swung the sword at the neck of daughter with full speed, the head was off.
The father returned home proudly and the neighbours simply agreed with his deed because it complies islam's teaching perfectly.

In Islam it is Haraam (Forbidden or Sinful) to force someone into marriage, I don't know what's wrong with Turkish laws I think they need to improve education and teach the real Islam. But more than fundamentalist islams aproval of harsh punishments for adultry , it has more to do with feudal structures that are unfortunately still prevelant in southeastern Kurdish regions and have power over families there. Yes, Erzurum is in Eastern Turkey and very conservative compared to other parts of Turkey. But vast majority of Turks live in western Turkey, my city alone makes up 1/5 of Turkeys population.
FYI,people from Turkey who live in Europe are mostly from Eastern Turkey because those areas are underdeveloped and unemployement is a bigger problem there.
And you are correct , we should do a lot more to to change the mentality of people in eastern parts,its a bleeding wound :(

In my experience, families who are moderate muslims is likely to become radical muslims over a few generations. An example: If a child of a moderate family are married into a radical family, it is very likely that their children will grow up to be radical muslims. No one is saying that islamic people have not done amazing things and they have, no one is saying that there aren't any intelligent islamic people, he is just saying that whatever accomplishment or good things you have in your religion does not justify murder. And that's the way it is, nobody has the right to take another's life, never.

There may indeed be a few non-Muslims that do it, but it is so miniscule compared to Muslims it's insignificant. It is epidemic with Muslims. Pointing out that other people might be doing it does not solve the problem. Denial isn't just a river in east Africa.

@dancinkindofguy I can highlight thoudands of cases of non-muslims doing worse, how many times we see them kill their parents? disrespect them? the Muslims who do honour killings are from remote villages, the uneducated folks who dont hve a clue abt Islam. But same time Islam has harsh punishments for adultery and rightly so. Islam protects society, wants to keep it pure, why should it make it easy for evil ppl do influence society? u see the Wisdom here? hence of why Muslims r pure & diciplined

No Father in his right mind wud want a daughter like that, so u can't blame them for being pissed. @easynowww So you're telling me the way to handle a misbehaving child is to kill her? Also how come this does not apply to male children wha are misbehaving. Teenagers will be teenagers, most of them grow out of it. Send em to reform school, kick them out of the house, but youdon't have any right to KILL them.

@CaligirlSofia Sorry, I'm seeing too much evidence to the contrary. Show me some clips of honor killings where the victims were boys. In Sharia law if a woman is raped she has to produce 4 male witnesses to have the rapist arrested, otherwise she is arrested for being a whore. There is a hundred videos right here on You Tube to back me up.
