@Shuffle3956 The EP3 has a better K20 engine wich has i-Vtec. Plus I think the EP3 also weighs less. BTW AP2's have 2.2 liter engines. I think this is an AP1 because the 2.2 S2000 were never sold in Europe.

It´s the F22 right ? think with the F20C (the engine we have in germany and the normal AP1) the S2000 should have been a bit faster (with 9200rpm etc.)

the gears in the s2000 are very tall compered with ep3/dc5 gearbox

as can be clearly seen in the first race when both cars start in second

having raced a friend just last night in my AP1 against his dc5 i looked down and when the dc5 hit 3rd gear my s2000 was only at 6500 revs

Both great cars but the s2k is just more fun to drive.. I used to own a 02 si hatback and now have an 06 s2k and regardless which is faster than the other the s2k is just plain sexy. The look,the handling,rear wheel drive and the gearbox from god made me switch to the s2k but sucks in the winter so the hatch is more practical but who cares lol

i dropped a k20z1 (06 type-s) into my ep3. it made 205.3 whp - only bolt ons were full exhaust (race header + full exhaust) and a short ram intake.

@psmTARDCORE Well its whatever your into, you will not beat a full bolted s2k, Before I went turbo, I had Full bolt set up with richmond 4.56 and dyno-tuned on a VAFC made 227rwhp and 193trq and Know damn well a stock Z or a Z with mild bolts could not kill it nor beat it, When a S2k is tuned currectly even when it is bone stock it is faster than a 350z, s2000 has a vtec kick which is mainly for marketing purpose which takes away from the full power potential of a s2000...

A stock Z can easily do a 13.3 and trap 105 mph and the 7AT is even faster C&D recorded a 13.1@106! Those bolt ons aren't going to make that car a whole second faster since a few people have gotten 12.8@110 mph and thats about how hard an M3 pulls. Itd be like making a stock civic Si faster than a mildly modded S2K, not gonna happen

All I can say is the performance parts you have purchased for your Ap2 are quite shy of Surperior. I see you have taken the time to buy loads of ice & exterior mods. When it came to your performance you went to shit. Skunk2 is shit for s2000's, Mugen was the the only performance part you bought worth keeping. Check out J's Racing or T1R a lot more expensive but worth every penny in performance and value.
