  • How did you clear out the mud from the cooling system?

  • Thanks for the lesson old man !

Nxt time when u recording in the garage use a separate mike (not the camera's one) & keep it closer to the mouth .

    tks again

    Flavio

  • But otherwise excellent video!

  • Just curious why you didn't add some anti-seize to the exterior bolts that bolt the lower unit on. It doesn't look like you are working in saltwater, but when in saltwater hydrolysis is common and the anti-seize will prevent the bolts from becoming locked in place.

  • Dude, good video, was pretty helpful!!!!!!

  • Great video on water pump replacement. I was wondering if you had a video on how to fog a Yamaha 225 4 stroke? Thanks very much!

  • These tutorials are soooo helpful! Thank you sooo much.

My confidence with my water pump replacement just went up, big time!

    Thanks D-Ray and Merry Christmas.

  • d-ray great video keep up the good work!! ??? for you?? i got a 1985 60hp johnson j60elcod, would this motor be hard to switch out the water pump on or is this a coomon job like your yamaha?

  • what brand of grease did you use/suggest for this along with general O ring and marine applications?

  • @skiffangler I prefer using yamaha marine grease, but for the water pump impeller since it is only for initial start up, just about any grease will do, just use it sparingly. The yamaha marine grease is packaged in 1lb tubs or tubes for grease gun application. Thanks for watchin'!

  • Do you suggest having the motor in gear or in neutral when you drop the lower unit?

  • @Michaelalee1970 I always have them in neutral. Thanks for askin' !

  • Great video. Very informative.

I'll be doing the water pump on my VZ200 this week.

  • Nice job,I will keep this video for when i need to change it on my F115.

    Thanks

  • I have a yamaha 150 four stroke is the water pump replacement the same ?

  • @mrgetrealpeople I havent worked on a 150 four stroke, but I looked at a parts diagram online for a 2004 model and they look very simular. Thanks for watching.
