@th3h8ed1 You really are a dumb fuck to put such an arrogant comment on here. I agree with you synthesized guitar will never sound as good as real guitar; however, drum sound libraries are used all the time in pop music today. Do your homework before calling people too stupid set-up drums. You personify the arrogance I can't stand about a lot of musicians
Hi. Can you help me with a longstanding problem? I'm connecting my Yamaha DTXplorer electronic drums to my iMac (purchased new in 9/2009) and using ezdrummer inside garageband . I'm using a program called midipipe to get the electronic drums to work in garageband as a midi instrument. No matter what I do, every time I play my electronic drums, there's a short delay, enough to ruin the timing of every song I work on, even after doubling my mac's ram to 8 gb. Any suggestions? Thanks!
there is no mapping possibilities in EZdrummer (however there is in Superior Drummer 2.0). In order to put your cymbals on your drum pads, you need to remap the sounds within your module, and I have to refer you to your manual for the TD3 for that. The MIDI layout for your EZdrummer and DFH is available from the help section within EZdrummer.
Is this available for use with the ROLAND HD1? i bought this and i havent got the electric drumset yet, i want to know, did i fucked up my money or is it compatible with a roland hd1?
yes, you can indeed use it with a Roland HD1. It is compatible with any MIDI device, in fact.
You need to connect the HD1 to your computer and you might also need to make some adjustments in your module to ensure that the drums are mapped correctly to EZdrummer. I have to refer you to the manual for your HD1 in order for this.
It is compatible with any MIDI device. You might however need to do some settings in your HD1 module to get it mapped right. EZdrummer however follow GM standard, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
Is there some sort of automap? So I can just assign a drum to one of the pads on my Akai MPK Mini?

I was wondering, if you don't want to drag one of the preset beats into Garageband, how easy is it to create your own beats from scratch?

Does EZDrummer have it's own sequencer to make drum tracks to drag into garageband or do you have to make them in Garageband?

@th3h8ed1 because some people don't have thousands of dollars to spend to "properly" record instruments
