if you were to listen to timothy leary at all he states that lsd is not a drug, it is a chemical. yes it is powerful and i do agree that it may not be spiritual. the effects of hallucinogens distort every sense you have which in turn makes one think only for oneself. this is why you dont take hallucinogens if you have responsibilities. lsd is not for the ignorant and by your grammar, i can tell you dont qualify.

@Sargebri Yes, it was given to "schizophrenics" in order to "cure" them. LSD was also thought of as producing a model-psychosis in the 1950's. LSD was prescribed for migraine headaches like Sansert and Ergotamine or to heal an alcoholic. I have talked with an early LSD researcher who had a high success rate curing alcoholics. It was used to map the human mind among other things. Research was banned by the reactionaries who put a damper on legitimate research.

my first trip was at least 16 hours, and then i felt a bit different for the next few days and much more aware of everything. LSD changed my life for the better and changed my outlook on everything, it the best thing I ever done. I've only took it 3 times in my whole life too.

I would reccomend trying it in a controlled environment to anyone who is open minded, creative, a bit curious about life etc. it's also been 3 of the funniest nights of my life... but everyone reacts differently.
