  • Good job.

  • hello, how do you make new strings sound good?

  • You're a Filipino, aren't you?!

  • @AntonioTrillanesIV uh, no.

  • Thank you!

I am building a puzzle in my head, trying to teach my self the Uke and this was just the corner piece I was looking for.

Just what I needed, just when I needed it, Thanks! ^_^

  • Thanks. This was most enlightening. I'm starting to understand now.

  • this was really helpful!! thank you :]

  • im giving up, i just dont understand any of this!

  • Hey! Thank you so much for this! Have you tried doing any Indian Classical melodies on the Uke? You'd really like some of the melodies!

  • hey, thanks, it was really helpful!!:-)

  • This is great. Thank you.

  • You are a hilarious uke teacher! Very informative, too. Playing down the scale and turning it into a song was a whole different perspective I've never thought of before.

  • Thank u!! however i'll join some other youtubers by saying that we can't suiet see where u'r putting your fingers on the uke each time.

Trying to tune my uke by ear now, but it's not that simple :D

  • yey! i got it, i can play two songs now, so proud of myself!

  • ready for lesson two!!

  • Very cool!

  • Wow, very helpful. You are the first person to take the time to explain the ukulele as a musical instrument. Thanks for the great work.

  • i am astonished to know that!!!!

  • Nice! It is good to watch it after reading the theory. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the helpful video.

I like your ideas about method!

  • pause after putting your finger on the string for the note, i cant tell that quickly where your finger is on the uke. other than that, good job though

  • Playing along to barney videos eh? That's actually a pretty good idea. Nice video. I learned a lot.

  • From your other posts, I gathered your ukulele is a baritone...I'm deciding if I should buy one to start learning, but am not sure what kind (baritone...soprano?) Do you have any ideas on that?

  • mine is actually a tenor uke, probably more people who like to do solo stuff would have that size.

  • Thanks! :D If you don't mind me asking, did you start out with a student ukulele or one of the more professional ones?

  • this one is kind of in the middle. but i did have it refretted and tweaked a bit to my liking. but it was still a a very good price

  • Thanks for your help! :D

  • i love ur tutorial vids man, keep it up... Since im a beginner, it is a bit hard to follow u when ure naming the specific notes cuz i m used to chords but its all good, thanx
