Trym has strong Jazz roots/influences as he says himself. But I'm amazed how people get so worked up about Inferno's and Trym's speed: there are notable other jazz musicians with faster speed- see Buddy Rich for instance or for a more modern day example Neal Peart. People in the percussion community well know of significant talent beyond what we see here.

The music is still great and I love it but this is not the apex of drum talent.

Yes. This is taken from the Emperial Live Ceremony DVD. Which is great except for the fact that almost everybody in the band is wearing a different Emperor T-shirt which of course are all for sale in the DVD booklet. Oh well, gotta get those marketing dollars, can't say I blame them. Great performance in any case.
