Why couldn't Elle just shut up when the guy on the phone wanted to talk to the girl and he was doing a count down? I know Elle was just helping her but she talked too much when the guy was doing a count down to talk to the girl.

@paulkimchicago But even if they already knew the location, Elle still couldn't enter the room and just shoot him. Cops are only allowed to shoot people if they're not responding to gun threat. And besides, he wasn't really hurting Cheryl, he was ABOUT to hurt her. Lol, maybe too much information, but just wanted to make it even clearer!

Is this the DVD version? Because I'm pretty sure the music is different from the TV version at 37:00-39:00 - it had just a guitar riff and a few simple drum beats. But this version has the climactic music with the violins and string instruments. Thanks for the upload!

Do the BAU only deal with serial killers? If so, are we being led to believe that there are enough serial killers in America to keep a team of 6 profilers busy in a full time job. In one of season 7 episodes JJ tells the senate they they have had about 17 cases in as many weeks...That's ALOT!!!.....

@HartKent No, they usually do those but sometimes they have abductors and rapists.

@HartKent No, they also deal with terrorist incidents, child abductions and stalkers. However, you are right about the amount of serial killers, they have obviously utilised some artistic licence to stretch reality as the series is so popular. Many of the cases they feature are based on famous serial killings of the past few decades but it would be more realistic and perhaps more interesting if they mixed things up a bit.

@Princesshepburn That is one of the reasons that I love both this show & Cold Case: The episodes are literally ripped from the headlines. I worry that if CM writers keep serial killers in the front line some will get bored with the show...though they were brilliant in dealing with the whole Emily dead/undead thing, and that could have been a real death knoll for the show. I agree with you about needing to mix it up a bit...maybe see a little more personal stuff in the show?
