  • Thank you, the main thing is that we all love a great President like Ronald Reagan!

  • Ha, Ha, Reagan loved to wear those Brown Suits!

  • hey bapyou- get a clue. Reagan probably did fall asleep some because he was smart enought to realize some of the meetings were bullcrap. Gov't has meetings to have meetings. Reagan had enough common sense to know that if the meeting was worthless he could fall asleep. You're exaggeration of him falling asleep is hilarious though. Keep rewritting history to fit your liberal socialist, job killing, overregulating. gov't growing, way of thinking.

  • The truth hurts more than the lie.

  • Oh, yes indeed! To my mind, President Reagan should be canonized for the wonderful things he did.

  • Of course! Reagan fans have solid arguments, Reagan haters only know insults.

  • @Michele640 Indeed dear friend, indeed.

  • He was definitely the greatest in my lifetime, too.

  • I've just come back from a short stay in the US, and there I bought a very interesting book about Ronald Reagan written by his son Michael. The present America does need Reaganism to return to the way it was before.

  • Fisical Conservative my ASS

America doesnt care about Laws or rules it more than happy to bend when it suits them but expects other countries to follow the rules they wrote to stop other countries becoming great

  • You are telling lies, not me. Ronald Reagan was a great President who considerably improved the American economy after the disasters of the Carter era. He was definitely instrumental in bringing communism to an end, and he didn't kill anybody in Central America, the 1990 elections in Nicaragua showed who was right between the Sandinistas and their opponents.

  • I gave my only son this Great Man last name as his first name ! I can't wait until he's old enough to ask why i named him REAGAN!!!

  • @roe22silva I had the same idea:)

  • @roe22silva "I gave my only son this Great Man last name as his first name ! I can't wait until he's old enough to ask why i named him REAGAN!"

Don't forget to also tell your son that his namesake, by his namesake's funding of extreme right-wing regimes in Central America, is responsible for the murders of tens of thousands of people, most of whom were poor peasants in rebellion against their respective governments because those governments kept them poor, awarding them few if any rights.

  • @bapyou First off how can guerilla fighters be regimes, the Contras weren't in power the Sadinista Govt...err dictatorship..was. They were Communist who were denounced by the Catholic Church in a country that's 85% Catholic. Reports of abuse by the Contras were unfounded and just as many reports if not more were made towards the Sadinista govt. Again a history class or maybe reading a book that isn't written by Al Franken might do you some good, getting your head out of your ass will too.

  • @Panish56 "how can guerilla fighters be regimes"

No, not the Contras, the governments of El Salvador & Guatemala. Ronald Reagan said that Rios Montt, Guatemala's strong man, had "the best interest of the Guatemalan people at heart," this while tens of thousands were being slaughtered in the countryside by death squads. Reagan funded these governments with glee.

At least Jimmy Carter had the humanity to cut off aid to them. The CIA licked their chops when Reagan took office.

  • @Panish56 "Contras weren't in power the Sadinista Govt...err dictatorship..was."

Excuse me: The Sandinistas were a Marxrist revolutionary organization which OVERTHREW a dictator who had been supported for decades by the United States. The dictator Somoza had a private army, the National Guard, trained by the US, which tortured, murdered & raped the Nicaraguan people with impunity. No one else stood up to this fascist dictator. Why? Because American capitalists were making good profit there.

  • @bapyou Marxist, can't you just say Communist..is that any better than a dictatorship...So your saying the U.S. National Guard trained a dictator's army to rape and pillage...I'd love to hear all your other conspiracy theories..If the US is so evil than why are you still here speaking freely..give it a rest

  • @Panish56 " Marxist, can't you just say Communist"

Yes: The Sandinistas were Marxist communists. Can you say "comminist" wihtout associs=ting it with evil and death, as you've been trained to think?

"your saying the U.S. National Guard trained a dictator's army to rape and pillage"

Despite your bad English, no, that is not the history:

The U.S. trained the dictator Somoza's private army known as the Guarda Nacional (National Guard in English). It's not conspiracy, it's history.

  • Comment removed

  • @bapyou "Can you say "communist" without associating it with evil and death...?"

No! Communism is EVIL. The USSR killed 60,000,000 soviet people! You should study the history of the Soviet Union. Then read Marx. Then read Adam Smith. Then read the Deceleration of Independence. Then read the U.S. Constitution. Then you'll understand conservatives.

  • @DOHC2L "The USSR killed 60,000,000 soviet people!"

The number is not big enough. Make it bigger. 60,000,000 isn't going to scare anyone.

While you're thinking up a bigger number with which you can scare the world into hating communism, consider the many millions of deaths for which the United States is responsible: the Native Americans, Vietnam, El Salvador, Guatemala, Chile, Korea, and the many thousands killed in Russia during 1918's invasion by the U.S., France & the U.K. Fuck you.

  • @bapyou

Dear Mr. Communists. If you all so desire to live in Utopia plz visit Cuba, China, Europe, and stay there. You can take your jealousy of the rich and become poor, tax yourself and starve, you can kill your parents, your God, your business, your freedom, but dear Mr. Communist, you can do all of that, without taking others with you. And needless to say, you will always be alone.

And alone only is how you wil trully die.

Red and Rotten like the ones you killed.

  • @DolceEbellaAldrin "If you all so desire to live in Utopia"

I don't desire to live in a utopia. As with all right-wing fuckwads, you don't know and haven't read the first thing about socialism or communism.

"You can take your jealousy of the rich and become poor"

Who's jealous of the rich? The rich are leeches. I want the world to be free of exploitation. Capitalists want to be rich. I would merely like to live a dignified, decent life.

Is that plain enuf for you? Or are you too stupid?

  • @bapyou Oh that's right. You do know much about communism since you are one- heck..you can probably cite word for word what karl marx said. I may be dumb, but I am smarter than you for realizing communism will keep destroying countries, and mark my words, sooner or later it's going to destroy us. In regards to your surreptitiously assembled comment, you just proved that you are more of a communist and less of a rational being. prey on emotions, they will one day devour you.

  • @bapyou Keep bleeding, for the truth hurts more than the lie, and stained red is how you will die.

  • @DolceEbellaAldrin Bleeding?

The only thing that is bleeding at the moment is the entire cardhouse of capitalism.

Ronald Reagan was one of history's great mass murderers. He financed the genocide of the poor, illiterate and barefoot peasants of Guatemala and El Salvador. He funded the Contra terrorists who slaughtered, raped, and maimed their way across the Nicaraguan countryside in the 1980s.

Reagan was a pig. I'd spit and piss on his fucking grave, but he is not worthy of my fucking piss.

  • @Panish56

    2. "If the US is so evil than why are you still here speaking freely."

In my previous statement about Ronald Reagan and Central America, I worte noting at all about myself: the comment wasn't about me at all. Why are you making it so? Perhaps you're one of these so-called "conservatives" who believes that -- since we live in a relatively free society -- therefore, I should shut up. Have I read you correctly? If not, then why tell me to "give it a rest"?

  • Thank you for existing, Zerg. As for me, I will keep defending America and President Reagan till the end of my life, even if were the only one left.

  • "God Reagan's a bore. Ronald Reagan is one of these people who thinks he's right about everything. But he's not right ... about anything!" - film director John Huston, 1986

  • @bapyou What the hell did John Huston know???

  • @Panish56 "What the hell did John Huston know???"

Not what, who. Who did John Huston know? John Huston knew Ronald Reagan, a man who, as President, fell asleep at most of the meetings he attended.

Say what you want about Bill Clinton or Barack Obama (I'm not a fan of Democrats either), at least they were engaged and appear to have thoughts inside their heads.

What do we get with Republicans? Morons like Reagan & Bush. The latter couldn't be bothered to speak English.

  • @bapyou No I meant what as in What ABOUT Ronald Reagan. Did I say something about Clinton or Obama? Instead of correcting people's english on here you need to brush up on your history. It's pretty pretentious to sit here correcting other's grammar when you use gross exaggerations (eg. most meetings). Was Huston at these supposed meetings? Is he a political analyst, a historian? No he's just another typical Hollywood leftist with an agenda..hmm leftist agenda.. kind of sounds like you.

  • @Panish56 I wasn't correcting your English, I was telling you you had asked the wrong question.

John Huston is the great American film director. Reagan was a third tier wooden actor. Huston knew Reagan for decades socially, enough to take a measure of the senile old dolt's character. Which he did. Reagan was a goddamned bore who wanted to take the US back to the 1950s.

About Reagan falling asleep at meetings, this was common knowledge and written about in the press during the 1980s.

  • @bapyou And I am sure there are plenty of other people that knew him personally who would have said the exact opposite..A man does not win the largest presidential election lanside in history by being a "senile old dolt." Did I discredit that he fell asleep at a few meetings..I knew this too, what I was asking was John Huston present...And taking us back to the 1950's is much better than taking us to Communist and Socialist States that the present administration is doing.

  • Reagan was anything but a "Bozo", unlike you... you belong to the garbage of America! Fuck off!

  • And you sir a re a feckless toad.

I feel sorry for dwarf brains like yourself who don;t read FACT and base their ideals on fiction.

    You fucking loser.

  • I base myself on facts... you base yourself on bias and absolutely nothing else... you should walk the streets only at night in shame!

  • Once again, your claims are without substance nor do they carry proof that can be traced. Typical leftists strategy. You commented on my profile that I cannot recall history since I am only 28. FLASH NEWS, history can be read and not simply lived. This is why you LEFT WINGNUTS forget it so soon. Put down your Friedrich Engels and move to your Utopian Socialist land, Venezuela, where third world propaganda comes easy. After all, this IS what you deserve for it is exactly what you want.

  • You keep posting on my profile, you accuse me of not doing research, of believing everything I read and you state that I dont know what "Reagan Revolution" means. Well dear friend, if I did believe everything I read then perhaps my mind set would be more inclined in believing the, soon to be bailed out and pathetic, New York Times, time magazine, newsweek and the hundreds of other "credible sources" that you leftists propagandists proclaim to be your bible.

  • From many standpoints, it is helpful to set the record on Ronald Reagan. Am deeply indebted to the uploader here and YouTube for these opportunities. Thanxx very, very muchly.

  • This nation use to be full of americans.

All i see now are a bunch of whiny lifers, who are continue to give the democrats power and foreigners who come to this nation to be foreigners, not americans.

americans are far and few between now.

  • In 1965, we got Ted Kennedy's new (third-world) immigration. In 1986, we got amnesty for 15-20,000,000 aliens and de facto open borders. Thanxx, Immigation-Twins, Teddy and Ronnie. zoddie already knew this.

  • Don't confuse Reagan with that rascal named Ted Kennedy, they have absolutely nothing in common with each other.

  • The proof is in the immigration, Mich-ee-lee. Of course, our elites on both sides love immigration even though it's a scourge.

  • I disagree with you, Reagan was definitely better than Eisenhower.

  • That's funny, TR was a combat hero; Ike was some sort of general. Ronnie was a third-rate actor. President Ronald Wilson Poltroon. Ronnie and Arnie = ruin of CA. Ronnie = ruin of U.S.

  • Reagan's career as an actor has nothing do with his career as a politician, and I repeat he was an excellent President in my opinion.

  • With Ronald Reagan: 1. Amnesty for aliens, de facto open borders, unsafe streets 2. 30,000,000+ mfg jobs lost 3. "Downsizing, outsourcing, rightsizing, offshoring" 4. "Service economy" 5. Beirut, 1983---disgrace, cut + run 6. Failed to punish Iran 7. Backed down in KAL shootdown 8. Electrocuted the Environment -- James Watt. 9. Shooting wolves by helicopter--Exec order 10. 'Borrow + spend'--Mr. Debt 11. Killed 4th Amemdment w/ new Drug War, jailing millions for non-violent crimes
  • Ronnie =-

    1. a lot of bluster vs the USSR but once Gorby took the stage, it was obvious the USSR was not gonn to continue business as usual.

    2. And even when the Russians shot down that KAL, we did nothing.

    Third-rate actor, 4th rate bum

High rate talker, low rent crumb

  • All shameful lies! Thanks to President Reagan, America recovered from the disasters of the Carter era, 30 millions of new jobs were created, and a horrible enemy like communism was defeated!

  • 1.Sept. 1983 KAL 247 shot down by USSR in international airspace. 14 Americans killed, incl Cong. L. McDonald. Ronnie (RR) does nada

    2. Beirut, 1983, 241 U.S. Marines slaughtered by Hezbollah' + Islamic Jihad. RR does nada

    3. Meddles in Afghanistan 1982-1989, foolishly helping to build what will become the Taliban

    4. Peddles arms for hostages to Iran, encouraging more kidnappings

    5. Sells chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein. Thanxx, Ronnie

  • You are a liar! Reagan never did such things, he was always firm against terrorism and totalitarianism.

  • Michie-Mich:

The record is clear--please stop denying objective reality. Every statement made regarding Reagan's record here is true, documented and cemented in veriafiable fact. Michie-Mich, you are arguing from emotion and not substance.

  • And you are just a liar, because you quote things invented out of whole cloth! Ronald Reagan was simply a wonderful President!

  • "Reagan was a BORE in Hollywood, so he got into politics."

    -Frank Sinatra

  • Frank Sinatra just talked nonsense.

  • Frank was also one of the most popular entertainers by far over Reagan at the time....

  • I'm not questioning this... but Sinatra sure didn't understand a thing about politics.

  • Not any more knee-jerk statement than Reagan's politics either....LOL.

  • Reagan's policy as President, as well as Governor of California, was simply marvellous!

  • Bwhahahaha...

Okay lady, he was only the states largest polluter at the time.

And as president, Im not even going to dignify THAT with a response,

But it is America and you're entitled to your opinion no matter what country you came from.

  • Of course I'm entitled to my opinion, this is not Ceausescu's Rumania or Pinochet's Chile, and I totally disagree with you, who don't even know that I'm male.

  • Whether you're a male or not you should learn friggin ENGLISH before you try and argue. Of course Im entitled to mine as well and your guling down the Kool -Aid if you think any leader of one nation is better than another, they all KILL for profit. Do some research and then TRY AGAIN.

  • I don't think that leaders of democratic countries "kill for profit".

  • Then you my friend are naive at best. Do some reading, do you really believe they are doing otherwise? Honestly.

  • I'm not naive at all, I still prefer Western democracies to third-world dictatorships.

  • Ha! If you believe that I have some land in the Florida everglades for sale...

Look, one is just more dignified in a suit vs. one that is being more blatent about their tyranny.

Before we leveled Iraq it was a running country despite Saddam....wake up.

  • What? You must be making a joke... Saddam had waged a senseless eight-year war against Iran which caused one millions victims on both sides... in my opinion, instead of reading books, you use its sheets to make paper planes...

  • Wha? Sheets to huh? Dude, whatever on your airplane metaphors but he's the real story in case you don't listen too intently....

For your information this very country has wrought war in just about every nation in the world, no tell me how does THAT much endless war stack against ANY 8 year slaughter no matter how evil they are. Come on bloke.

  • Think about what you are saying before you just spew more inane diatribe. America causes wars now, only we do it better and more secretive see? We're not so dumb as dictators but our C.I.A and other organizations do some pretty nasty work, look it up mate.

  • I disagree with you, America always waged war in order to defend freedom and democracy, without America's intervention for one there would still be your Hitler in my Italy... anyway, no alleged mistake made by others can justifiy Saddam's warmongering and tyranny.

  • Baloney, if you weren't bor in this country how would you really know it's entire history, have you done your research? Some wars were justified, some were not. WWII was "supposed" to be the war to end the wars. Not so, too much war profiteering. Saddam was no saint but he didn't shut off people's essentials either...try again.

  • At least Reagan showed up--Sinatra was a colossal draft-dodger at the Ted Nugent level of ignominy.

  • Reagan never served dude, he made propaganda films which he claimed as service during WWII. Please tell us what Sinatra never enlisting has to do with him calling Reagan a wild BORE, which is clearly true. Reagan was never big in Hollywood to he has to tout his wares outside of the industry.

    Try again...fail.

  • j-birdy, BFF, let's try to reason this out:

    1. No one is more anti-Reagan than yours truly.

    2. Nonetheless, the record seems to cleary indicate Reagan was in the National Guard, having joined in the late 1930s. He was a coward who claimed poor vision did not allow him to serve as a real soldier but he did serve.

    3. Frankie-The-Sin was even more cowardly, claiming a bad ear and purposefully acting like some off-the-wall cornball, a "4-F" classification being the prize.

  • Well Lumpagogo, I agree Frank Sinatra was no prize, in fact he couldn't serve b/c he was a convicted felon before he got famous not to mention his dealings w/ mobsters even after he'd gained public acclaim. I just found Reagan's obtuse nature to be the worst thing this country had ever seen but then again he certainly beats the BUSH league!

    ;)

  • Frank Sinatra didn't understand a thing about politics.

  • Oh i see, so that's why Sinatra was friends with Ronald Reagan and all the way back to JFK b/c he didn't understand politics? For an Italian American from Jersey he did pretty darned well.

    Try again.

  • That's another matter. Ronald Reagan, anyway, was definitely a great President.

  • I see, so you bring up another subject and then suddenly change your mind on discussing it? Hm.

Ronald Reagan was a do-nothing president. Unlike most Republican presidents who either do-nothing (for which they are praised for peace) or go to war.

  • In my opinion, Ronald Reagan was anything but a do-nothing President, he worked hard for as long as eight years, created 25 millions of new jobs and defeated the horror of communism. I think Democratic presidents are mainly disastrous, not Republican.

  • Yeah in your opinion ONLY, back your statements with FACT sir, 25 million jobs? That's RIDICULOUS. We had a recession and high unemployment during the Reagan years, economic booms but low jobs. Nothing could be more DISASTROUS THAN republicans, NEVER a balanced budget...ever, I rest my case.

    Try again...fail.

  • He worked hard? He SLEPT most of the time....LOL. He took more vacations next to G.W. Bush. Defeated communism? Wrong. Try China, Cuba and N. Korea where communism is alive and well. YOU'RE the disaster with your low level of FACT.

  • You don't know a thing about President Reagan! He worked hard for eight consecutive years, among other things he was elected with the highest number of delegates in history! And he actually defeated international communism (I refer to the former Soviet Union and its European allies). You are the greatest ignoramus I have ever met, shame on you!

  • Comment removed

  • You really don't know a thing... Reagan had been interested in politics from the very start, he sure didn't leave Hollywood in order to run for President... you desecrate American history by talking such hogwash.

  • You don't know a thing you don't know a thing...do have any more "spoonfed" responses? Reagan started in Hollywood California get that clear, he didn't start in Washington. He was a governor and a lackluster one at that. What would you know about American history? You're from Italy for crissakes....

  • I'm actually from Italy, but I'm also an Americanologist, and I repeat Reagan was in my opinion the greatest President in history.

  • That's your opinion and in MY opinion he had the most corrupt administration in American history (next to G.W. Bush). 138 administration officials convicted (James Watt: 41 Felony counts/ Oliver North convicted of destroying evidence/Iran-contra(an impeachable offence!) Reagan when brought to trial uttered the words "I don't recall" 60 times!

  • I don't give a damn for your opinion and your lies!

  • I don't know whether Reagan's administration was the most corrupt or not. But even if it was, he was the right person, in the right job, at the right time. The U.S. needed his leadership at that point and, corruption or not, the NET benefit to the WORLD was HUGE.

  • I fully agree!

  • Thats all you've got? I have a list as long as my arm on the current administration. For goodness sake, it seems that you dig the past in search of justification for the present. Do you get your sources from The Onion as does msnbc?

  • Oh, and GREAT JOB with the James Watt contextual evidence...he pleaded to ONE, ONE misdemeanor. No felonies. Mind you that this ocurred many years after serving in the Reagan administration and the reason why Reagan "uttered the words 'I don't recall'" was because Watt was being tried for something that ocurred prior to serving as Secretary of Interior. Nevertheless, the man, Watt, was a damn fool and an arrogant prick. However, state that facts you leftist distortionist.

  • Correction...make that 130 times!

  • BRAVO!

  • Thank you for existing, my friend.

  • @Michele640 Keel tellin' 'em off! Keep doin' it! You are a smart Italian, God bless you! You prove to me not all Europeans are anti-American! Reagan WAS the best, and I'm sick and F-in' tired of liberals trashing our history and facts! Liberals hate good, Evangelical people as much as they hate freedom and the truth. SCRAM off, Liberal punks! SCRAM! Go back to your abortion clinics and your hippie communes!

  • @Michele640 "I'm actually from Italy ... Reagan was in my opinion the greatest President in history."

You must also think that Silvio Berlusconi is the greatest President in Italian history. What else do leftover fascists have but the extreme right-wing morons of late 20th/early 21st century capitalism?

Did you know the U.S. has influenced every election in Italy since World War 2? In an effort to keep communists from being elected in 1948, the U.S. supported ex-fascisti.

  • @Michele640 INDEED Ronald Reagan was a wonderful President and I miss him so much to this very day. I was a Reagan child of the 80s. I am proud of that fact. I lived during Reagan's time as President!

  • @Michele640 I don't know if Reagan was the greatest president in history, but he was the greatest president in my lifetime.

  • @Michele640 Hell yes

  • @Michele640 I love you!!

  • You keep talking about "THE FACTS" as if you gave any source to your nonsensical rant. I mean, aside from Keith "Dumb ass" Olberman, Chris "I'm too old for this shit" Matthews and Rachel "Im so gay I wish I had a ding dong" Maddow. See, it seems that wisdom gain in age has been replaced by mindless declarations of insatiable stupidity mixed with a lack of credibility by appealing to unfounded sources, which favor to leftist intellectual. I am through with you and your foolishness. Away!

  • @TheReaganRevolution

this fascist bastard declared War on the American people with his phony war on drugs a, economic policies, and reckless borrowing from foreign banks (tripled the national debt).

Half of America is now pauperized living below the poverty line, and we now have 25% of the planets prisoners with only 5 % of its people....A 500% increase in prison population since he and his treasonous laws/ policies took affect. He was the enemy and only stupid people don't see this

  • @Michele640 " Reagan ... actually defeated international communism."

This is the lie right-wingers tell themselves in order to avoid the unpleasant realities and horrors of the Reagan admin: The SU collapsed from the weight of its own unwieldy beauracracy; the US had little to do with it. Any credible historian of the SU will tell you this, aside from ideologues at the AEI or Hoover Institute.

Reagan is also responsible for the deaths of 10s of 1000s of Central Americans.

  • The Reagan era ended with Bush II.

  • bush was no way near the president reagan was

  • Reagan suffered from alzheimer's.

Bush apparently did a lot of drugs.

  • Reagan Era facts:

20 million new jobs were created during the Reagan presidency

    (U.S. Statistical Abstract)

-Of these 20 million new jobs: -The average hourly wage was $10/hr. -46.1% were over $28,048/yr, and another 46.2% were from $7,012-$28,048/yr, while only 6% were under $7,012/yr.

  • God Bless Reagan for ending the Soviet Union. The rest of the Western World was not committed to ending the horrors of communism. Millions of Europeans voted for communist parties while Poles, Hungarians, Ukranians, Latvians, Estonians, Lithuanians and ofcourse Russians languished in Communist labour/death camps and struggled for their basic human rights. Reagan, helped bankrupt the evil empire and free half of the european continent.

  • the soviets were on their way down b4 reagan took office, and the soviet ended under Bush I watch not his.

  • What is it like living off the Government?

    I wouldn't know.

  • Take it easy, i didnt vote for obama killerbeau95 i'm just saying i miss the man as president thats all

  • Yeah, sure ok? Asshole and Obama is doing a better job?

  • Examples?...

  • clinton didnt do shitt.

  • bull shit

  • psh, you're out of your mind mitch.

The time of Regan's administration was one of the most abundant our country has ever known.

  • What a national treasure this man was.

His legacy remains so, and grows in importance and influence with each passing year.

  • Ronnie carried the biggest stick of all

  • why is this upside down?

  • obama said. "bend over and take the stick in the ass"

    now thats foriegn policy.

    ha i hate liberals

  • I love to annoy liberals! That's why I remind them Reagan ended the Cold War!!

  • idiot the soviet union had a crumbling economy since the time of kennedy hello why do you think khrushchev wanted to grow fields of corn because since the time as stalin the union was starving and rationing food. An economy which never became a consumer good economy it was always a heavy industry large machinery . What did reagan do well it was "mr.gorvachev tear down this wall" anyone can say that! he did nothing to end the cold war he was just president at the right time!

  • Actually, Russia wa sbankrupt because it was trying to keep up with the US arms race as much as anything else.

It probably would have collapsed, but not for another ten years or so. It was the arms race (that the USA could survive) which crippled USSR.

  • very true.

  • which began b4 reagan took office.

  • no; it ended under Bush I watch.

  • golden, you are an idiot. Reagan brought down the Soviet Union and the whole world knows it. Only you delusional history revising liberal morons want to deny it. You really are a joke

  • no; it ended under Bush I watch, and it was on it way down back when carter was in office. i'm not giving to carter for these are the facts. the soviets invaded Afghanistan, and where there for about 10 years. this is want really cause them to go broke, not reagan and his multiple, yet good speeches. 1 more thing, if you truly knew the meaning of "liberal" you would not use it in that way.

  • They lost in Afghanstan because Reagan and congress sent missles to shoot down the helicopters(research "Charlie Wilsons War). The Soviet Union was expanding in the 80 throughout Central and South America. I do understand the meaning of the word liberal and I am using it correctly, although I will soon have to change it to socialist, then communist...etc You really are misinformed liberal moron

  • "liberal"- Isaiah 32:1-8. from what i know (i could be wrong and if so i will admit it) that was bcuz of him {charlie} not reagan. but how come reagan and bush 41 didnt give money to that nation for rebuilding?

  • Oh, now you are in favor of nation building! XD and you call republicans "imperialist"! LOL You're hind site is very good (maybe its cause you have your head up your ass!) You see I give Charlie Wilson (a Texas Democrat) credit for his good work, which he could not have accomplished without Reagans help.(Carter wouldn't have touched it) and you try to rewrited history to smear this country's greatest president. You are a partisan ideologue propagada spewing moron.

  • 1 i never said i was in favor of nation building, nor did i say i wasnt in favor for it. this depends on the country and their culture. 2 i researched charlie (as u have suggested) and that's is what i came up. reagan was not in favor of his doings, especially since it was during "iran-contran". 3 if you think that im an ideologue than what r u with ur comments. 4 using curse words is not called for; let's be civil. 5 u have yet to comment on the true meaning of the word liberal from the bible.

  • If you are not in favor of nation building, why are you asking why Reagan and Bush not build Afghanistan? Reagan was not against helping the Afgans, that is just a moronic lie on your part. If you are not an ideaologue, you really are a complete moron without a clue about history and you just make it up as you go along. What does the bible have to do with anything?

  • because i really want to know that's why; i find it kind of odd that it was not in the making. i said reagan was not in favor of charlie's doings, not against helping the Afgans. the bible is where the true meaning of the word liberal is used.

  • You are misinformed about Reagan (and history in general) and I am not religous and do not consult the bible

  • uh huh, well at least i asked. but thanks for telling me about charlie wilsons' war, that i did not know. also you don't have to be religious to read the bible or for that matter any other spiritual book. i myself from time to time read the ancient hindu, buddhasist texts and the koran.

  • R.I.P.

    Ronald Regan

    1911-2004 :(

  • just think if jimmie would of been in. The US would of surrendered.

  • Teddy Roosevelt was combat-tough; Reagan was coward-tough, pushing war buttons (in Central America and the Middle East) in safety while

someone else was at the other end.

And open borders ala Ronnie ruined our "national security." Immigrant-loving, grinnng ghoul.

  • As far as being a corrupt politician, he openly admitted that he was a democrat at one time.

  • Those 4 million illegals wouldn't have been here in the first place if Americans didn't want them here. It's not the government that continues to provide them with opportunities for shelter and work. If the Latin American countries followed suit after India and China and taught their citizens English as a second language, latinos could attend college in America for free, find a high-paying American company that would sponsor them for a work visa, and then immigrate here legally.

  • We've already got 15,000,000 Puerto Ricans and 30,000,000+ illegal Spanish on top of 40,000,000+ legal Spanish; they suck up an

estimated $300,000,000,000 in taxpayer freebies every year. Oh well.

    eleanor wants more.

  • There are 12-20 million illegals total. Go do some research. "Legal" citizens have as much right to be in America as you do, even if they are Spanish. The fact that you lump legals in with illegal immigrants is probably because you are a racist.

Send them all home. The richest country in the world shouldn't have to do anything to help the poor. I'm only concerned with me, me, me, buy me a new ipod and a new computer.

  • The YouTube community has been presented by eleanor with a textbook example of snobbish elitism gone mad. The fact that these Spanish invaders have placed a stranglehold on our urban, suburban and, increasingly, our small communities with their felonious behavior (gang violence, rapes, murders) makes no difference to the original, sneering reverse-racist: Eleanor Roosevelt.

eleanor is the type of leeching aristocrat the Talk Radio slime attack with good cause.

  • You're not an American, you are garbage.

  • Some of us served our country in the military; others would never deign to do that. They are the derisive lice who live in the walled communities looking down at the rest of us with their mocking, haughty gazes.

    Morbosa gorda.

They don't care who gets mauled by some brainsick immigrant as long as it's not they.

    Bastardi.

  • You are a good example of how serving in the army doesn't make you a good American. You're just arrogant.

  • eleanor is the arts-and croissant dilletante who sends checks to CAIR and La Raza but has never been within 5 miles of an immigrant.

eleanor is the type who provides grant money to vivisectors and buys the latest fur fashions.

eleanor, you almost make murderer-Reagan look good, that's how malicious you are. Bankrupt, empty character sipping the tea and saying: "Good show, oh Jeeves, order me another dozen pair of snake-skin slippers."

    The Queen of Contempt.

  • yeah, but I'm not the one with a huge superiority complex. Society doesn't owe me one because I was a mechanic at an Army base in Arkansas for three years.

  • Just when it seems ellie has reached the nadir of humanoid disgrace, she goes yet another step lower--another totem of stupidity duly noted. Take the last post, ellie-of-filth-----you no longer exist.

  • Pedantic and full of shit.

  • So let's give more guns to those nun killers in El Salvador!
