I've just come back from a short stay in the US, and there I bought a very interesting book about Ronald Reagan written by his son Michael. The present America does need Reaganism to return to the way it was before.

They were Communist who were denounced by the Catholic Church in a country that's 85% Catholic. Reports of abuse by the Contras were unfounded and just as many reports if not more were made towards the Sadinista govt. Again a history class or maybe reading a book that isn't written by Al Franken might do you some good, getting your head out of your ass will too.

Actually, Russia wa sbankrupt because it was trying to keep up with the US arms race as much as anything else.
It probably would have collapsed, but not for another ten years or so. It was the arms race (that the USA could survive) which crippled USSR.

If the Latin American countries followed suit after India and China and taught their citizens English as a second language, latinos could attend college in America for free, find a high-paying American company that would sponsor them for a work visa, and then immigrate here legally.
