A real artist, this = quality. Her Advice from a Cartoon Princess skits are priceless (which encouraged me to watch this) & if I were a major production company I would hire her to produce and/or star in a film in a heartbeat. The ONLY short over 5min that I've even come close to liking. Maybe the only short I've ever liked, period. Excellent. Brilliant, brilliant writing. As an aspiring short film maker (I've got one up here somewhere) this is very inspirational. And I think I love danielle. I hope there's more stuff here by her.

Well done. Nicely shot. Some of the actors weren't actors (to be honest). The twist wasn't really a twist.... it was more like... "O.k. There's a 50/50 chance she's not really dieing" which was ok. Sometimes simple themes are more powerful.

I think the point of the film is

you have a moment of fear that the fun part of your life is over when you finally pick the one who's The One, and

it's no fun when your parents disagree with your choice, but

I think the truth is that every stage of life has its upsides and its downsides (in fact every age does, 18, 29, 35 . . . )

so we might as well just FORGET about the downsides. 

Enjoy each age to the fullest for one full year . . .

then move on.

Enjoy life. That's the point of it.

She's saying this from experience because she regrets the day she got married as she sees it as the end of her independent life. So no, she's not actually going to die. It was a figure of speech.
