Hello I recently started a new reef tank but for some reason I have the same brown algae on the sand as you. If someone could tell me why I have this algae and how I can get rid of it I would be very thankful. Thankyou.
Do an extra water change per month. Like if you do a 20% change once a month, then do a 20% every two weeks for a couple months, then you can go back to monthly, depending on how many fish you have of course.
the black part thats holding the faucet outside the bucket what is that. the faucet u are using to pour r/o water into the smaller bucket. how did u install that outside the bucket
yeah see it and how did u get the faucet connected with the basket. i can see it at 5.44 the white pipe and faucet tap i understand but what is the black part

You can put it on your tank, but there is good algae in there it will kill. I just use it to keep my RO water clear of bacteria.

Oh I see what you mean. That's a float valve, it cuts off the water when it reaches a certain level.

That's a standard PVC spigot connector with a rubber seal to prevent leaks.
