  • But he is still way better than every other Batman before. So as "Begins" and "The Dark Knight".

  • He sounds like Ghostface if he had strep throat.

  • In the scene starting at 0:18 , his voice sound ok, rest of the time it' a joke.

  • I need a lozenge just watching this.

  • He is the best.

  • "SooooOOOOooomeOne Knows were he is" <- sounds Retarded

  • 2 words... Kevin... Conroy

  • Na-nana-na-nana-na-na ASTHMA!

  • Why is Keaton the best? He's quite and doesnt show much emotion as Bruce Wayne, Bale is kinda obvious and broken. Plus I wouldnt mind Bales voice if he didnt talk some much

  • @DarkerPhoenix1

    Adam West: Campy

    Michael Keaton:Dark

    Val Kilmer: Classy

    George Clooney: Friendly

    Christian Bale: Dark and Emotional

  • WTF did Bale say in the beginning of this video? I'm not wear hockey pads?!? lol

  • Kevin Conroy tops all, aside from Michael Keaton

  • Adam West - The Best Batman ever.

  • @captain0ldy0da

    Only one who can dance...

But I love doing voice impressions of Keaton and Bale.

  • @krumov001 That dance, Ep. 1 FTW!!!

  • @captain0ldy0da

I'd dance like that but I don't have a bat suit you see...

  • @krumov001 Oh, never mind I'll call Alfred to make you one...

    ALFRED!!!

    ...He's on his way. :)

Ready to party your ass off?

  • @captain0ldy0da

    Orange juice, please.

  • I like Bales batman the most and i dont find the voice funny or ridiculous, it makes batman more scary and its more realistic Brus Wayne to use a diffrent voice, after all he is a famous person and batmans mask isnt on a full face so someone could recodnize him. Im not a comic fan, but i watched all the batman movies and i like the first one from 1989 and the Dark Knight the most, but i like the dark knight better

  • He is the best.

  • Soooomeone KnoooOOoows, how retarded Bale sounds.

  • would you guys like it better if he sounded like a little bitchy girl

  • People need to shut the fuck up about his voice.. its no big deal, christian bale is a awesome batman

  • It's is a big deal because I want to know what he is saying.

  • Youa eitha die ah herow, orah youa lifeah longa, to see yourself become the retard in the mirror like Christian Bale's Batman.

  • you are forgetting that he is actually mental, batman is fucking crackers thats why he sounds like that because he has LOST IT

  • He just isn't a very good actor.

  • Christian Bale may not play the best Batman, but these are certainly the best Batman movies. I've watched all the originals and I like these ones 10 times more. I do not like Batman and Robin and I particularly despise and loath 1989 Batman (Michael Keaton).

  • @happycamperable Wow, u hated 1989 Batman more than the disaster that was Batman and Robin? I'd like to hear why

  • @kriegpaolo Eh...maybe not more, but I seriously despise both. They are a disgrace to Batman and cinema.

  • I dont hate the voice I hate his bruce wayne because he's so 2d keaton actually struggled with his duality and relationships convincingly

  • He Had To Disguise His Voice.

  • @Daj679 i agree and it is quite cool

  • WHO IS Hating on Bale's Batman voice? People who are stuck in the past!

  • Christian Bale will go in history as the most horrible/annoying/retarded/unfaithfull batman with throatcancer.

  • @Mercenary78 unfaithful? You know he put on 100lbs in 6 months just to get in shape for batman? He had to loss 40lbs because he was at risk of health problems.

I dont necessarily like his batman voice but it could be worse (george clooney anyone?)

  • @BooJoMan Who cares what he did to get in such a good shape, that's not the point. His Batman has nothing to do with with the original. he is just stupid.

  • @Mercenary78 Not sure If trolling or just really stupid....

  • Seriously.. Yes! He is the best Batman!!!

  • Fucking horrible Batman.

  • keaton was the best batman

  • hahahahahaha, just keep clicking right one 0:02 a few times in a row. LOL. I love Bale, I love the new Batman movies, but his voice does sound so ridiculous at times.

  • I'm just glad he used separate voices for Bruce & Batman, it's how the caped crusader should roll.

  • He is the BEST!!!!! This Voice is brilliant!!!

  • Bale's Batman just doesn't work. He sounds like he's out of breath every time he speaks.

  • @Avankiri Well sometimes he is ! ;D

  • thats not the batman i remember from TIM BURTONS batman movies

  • Comment removed

  • Bale in Batman Begins was the best.

He had a fantastic suit, fought better than Keaton, his voice was not NEARLY as over the top as it was in the Dark Knight, and he didn't kill. His gadgets were awesome and could actually scare somebody proper (SWEAR TO ME). For the record, he was also ripped as hell, while Keaton wasn't nearly as fit.

  • Michael Keaton = Best Batman

  • Christian Bale + George Clooney = Worst Batman

  • Christian Bale = Best Batman

    George Clooney = Worst Batman

  • I liked how he sounded in Batman begins, but in Dark Knight it sounds like he has a frog in his mouth. I think in Dark Knight it was altered by a computer....either way I hope they correct it in Dark Knight rises.

  • is he talking is some kind of extinct language?

  • Michael Keaton: Best Batman. The one you would least suspect. He is perfect for both Bruce Wayne, his intelligence and control, and a very cool Batman.

Val Kilmer was okay, good Batman, but he looks too young for Bruce Wayne.

George Clooney: Great Bruce Wayne, but horrible Batman. He plays George Clooney in the Batsuit.

But Christian Bale? *laughs* REALLY? He sounds like a pirate doing a bad impression of a guy who has throat cancer! And he's so obvious as batman!

  • @burmiester1 Totally agree

  • @burmiester1 Keaton wasn't all that good as Batman. He nailed Bruce Wayne, but he lack the physique to be an imposing batman

  • His voice sounds ok during the interrogation scene, but other than that it sounds ridiculous

  • The voice is menacing and intimidating. If I can understand it someone who learned English as his second language you better damn well stfu and understand it too.

  • For a criminal, his voice is menacing and that's what matters.

  • Yeah ive always notice the fact he sounds like he cant breath out his nose. Its possible with with the cowl on he cant.

  • Even just pinching your nose mildly makes your voice sound nasel'd.

  • The voice is just terrible, really awful, the movie (DK) was good, but god damn "HRRMMGRAHHHHDRGGRUAGHAAR" It sounds like a cross between scooby-doo, the cookie monster and an engine that won't quite start.

  • Bale just comes off as a crazy guy in a suit. I take him just as serious as I took his impersonators in Dark Knight.

  • "Your peanut butter chill forever!"

  • Yes, really

  • All these clips was taken from dark knight.. noone touches the batman begins

  • This video really reminds me of how lame I thought the BaleBatman is after I watched that film. the Hockey Pants thing especially seems just sooooo wrong!

  • Nolan wanted this Batman to be feared by criminals. The criminals feared him because Batman used their own superstitious beliefs against. The reason why Bale and Nolan chose this voice I think is because they wanted to make him sound like a demon who came out of the shadows, hence the gritty and smoky voice.

  • @mrjacksepticeye thats impossible. neither of them played joker or batman.

  • If batman/bale, used his original american voice for both characters, ppl would know who he is, or at least assume and try to find out. its only practical that he would that he would change his voice, it sounds scary, and it doesnt hint to him being batman.

  • It's practical for him to hide his voice to conceal his identity, while sounding intimidating in the process.

  • Retared fansboys shut up.

  • @puckloki66 If you are going to be an asshole.. at least make sure that your spelling is correct. :)

  • to be the batman, nonetheless the best batman who have to wear the batman suit, Conroy never wore the batsuit or rode in the batmobile so he's not eligible to be the batman

  • I have to admit when Batman is yelling at someone the voice can be menacing

  • why so many Conroy supporters, Conroy's Batman is so overrated he just uses the generic cartoon good guy voice and yet everybody praises him. Bale's the best Batman without a doubt.

  • @Godzilla52 Conroy has been Batman for sooooooooo long. And is one of, if not the best, animated shows to ever come out of America. Plus most people watched it cause it was that good. So thats probably why a lot of people tend to go with him. It just feels comfortable for them

  • @Godzilla52 Conroy has been the voice since '91. He did the animated series, Justice League, a bunch of different movies about Batman, and he has done Arkham City and Asylum. For everyone single project he has done about Batman, he's done his homework about it. If you were to choose one actor who knows and is Batman, it is Conroy. He has basically become the character over the years.

  • @Godzilla52 I'd like to know what cartoons you've been watching in which all the good guys sound like Kevin Conroy.

Because I'd fucking watch that show.

  • yes bale is good but will never be able to beat kevin conroy

  • pussy justin bieber>retarded bale batman

  • @mrjacksepticeye Best voices, they are voice actors that's something entirely different.... You can't compare them.

  • why does he talk like that

  • i want to punch bale in his face when he talks, so annoying haha

  • 0:02 omfg he sounds like joker

  • So some people believe a guy who's constipated and has a lisp makes a good batman voice? Hmmm no wonder so many people are trying to get into prison.

  • like if u think jack nicholson will always be the best joker. even though heath ledger was amazing as joker

  • fuck all of you, bale is the best batman, his voice makes batman badass and creppy, all the other batmans wernt badass at all. bale all the way plus the dark knight is the best movie ever, imagine how lame it would of been if keaton was batman

  • @meelker12345 As you said, Bale was "CREPPY" :D I will not contraddict you :)

  • @meelker12345 His voice doesnt make badman badass, it makes it sound like hes been smoking. And Keaton as batman would be alot better then a batman that strikes no fear in no one.Plus the reason the dark knight was good is because heath ledger saved it.

  • @DeathChubz your right ledger did save it. his acting was amazing

  • @DeathChubz

ledger and Eckhart. Never forget Two-Face

  • Batman has an underbite.

  • MICHAEL KEATON RULES!!!

  • its just the voice... they shouldve stopped at begins cuz now its just silly. imagine bane joker scarecrow and batman talking all in one scene... woe...

  • I guess if a person with throat cancer stood in my face yelling at me, I probably would be startled. But at the same time, I also don't think it's a fitting Batman voice. All the other versions of Batman pretty much lowered their voice just a tad, and it worked out. Oh well, only one more Nolan movie to bare, then hopefully the franchise will be in better hands.

  • i think this is a good batman voice im sorry. batman is supposed to be a dark mysterious figure and i think that bale pin pointed the voice perfectly.

  • I must admit, his voice is the ONLY thing I don't like about him. However in Batman Begins his voice was fine.

  • Justin Bieber would even make a better Batman than Christian Bale.

  • @Mercenary78 Nope at least Bale has a deep voice Justa Beaver sounds like a little girl.

  • @TheTrueSaberMaster haha ;)

  • Comment removed

  • NO ONE Said Christian Bale is the BEST Batman.. but he IS the Best Bruce Wayne, and that's a FACT! HE's the only actor that brought humanity and emotion in Bruce Wayne, instead of just some plain and boring millionaire playboy

  • LOL @ 0:05 it looks and sounds like Bale's Batman is struggling to sneeze. Anyways, Keaton did a better job IMO, no need for distorting the voice so drastically, and so rediculously.

  • bale, conroy > keaton

  • @fenderdude64

    nah

    keaton, conroy > bale

    there.

  • I think one batman here should stop smoking cigarettes

  • Um, yeah he is the best Batman.

  • screw you ya prick. there's a lot more to the movie than the batman voice you tool. and honestly, keaton was a horrible batman!

  • Bale is a horrible batman... This voice just ruins the whole movie for me... Ledger made up the Dark Knight for me.

It felt like Batman was clowning around with that voice rather than Joker...

  • @FallenAndRised not bale's fault he didn't use that voice woudn't his throat hurt i think its the editing they wanted to make batman more frightening and i think its fine since he has to hide his voice so nobody would think its wayne

  • Comment removed

  • @FallenAndRised

Ledger and Aaron Eckhart. never forget Two-Face.

  • Keaton-killed bad guys. not batman

Kilmer-was a step forward. but too "smart" for bruce wayne

    Clooney-bruce wayne

Bale-the playboy billionare bruce wayne and THE GODDAMN BATMAN

  • Comment removed

  • bale is a retarded joke, worst batman ever in history! greetz from a true batmanfan.

  • @Mercenary78 really?

  • christian bale is good as batman..he's voice is awesome..thumbs up if you like christian bale batman..

  • I think Bales voice was pretty cool... i mean seriously, if batman wants his identity hidden, would he want Gordon or someone asking him ''Mmmmm... are you Bruce Wayne by any chance'' and the voice just sounds cool anyways.. BALE RULZ OVER ALL OF THEM!

  • Bale>Kilmer>Keaton>West>>>>>Clooney not necessarily the best films in that order. But.. the best BATMAN,in that order.

  • Bale would be the best if he didn't have that shitty voice. Keaton would be the best if he didn't look shitty in the batsuit. Lets not talk about the classic batman of the 60s.

  • bale may not be the best batman, but he did great. and ledger was definitely the best joker. or if not the best performance.

  • It's still Keaton for me. But Aaron Eckhart was the definitive Two-Face.

  • @krumov001 I agree, Aaron Eckhart is the best in this movie, and it's such a shame they let him die in the script and saved the Joker instead!! They could have made a great work with this character and they have wasted everything!!

  • @funzi159

I wanted a film with Aaron and Mike Keaton..too bad they are from different generations.

  • @krumov001 yeah tommy lee jones two face looked painted on with purple make up and less real echearts two face looks real

  • @thejusticeavengers1

Not just that but Aaron played him more closer to the comics.

  • In the comic's Batman talk's with a deep growling voice,in fact Alfred has to remind Bruce to stop talking like Batman! Of course most people that comment just watch film's and don't know the source material as well as me,so I am not bashing.

But think of it like this:

    Gordon: Hi Batman.

    Batman (normal voice) Hi Gordon.

Gordon:Fuck me Bruce Wayne is Batman (you get he idea)

In my opinion,Christian Bale is the best Batman/Bruce Wayne put to film.

  • @Mercenary78

When I watch Burton and Schumacher Batman film's I think only kid's could take that seriously.Burton took massive liberty's with Batman's mythos but all I hear is 'fan's' screaming and crying about how Bale talk's as Batman.I watched Burton's Batman in the cinema in 89' and by this time was reading work's by MIller,Morrison,Moore etc and Batman had changed. But I realised I had watched a 'kid's' Batman film.Bale is best (my opinion). But to each his own.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mercenary78

You obviously have no Batman knowledge at all because Batman has had a no kill policy for decades,in fact the last time he killed was the 40's.Also Bruce is confident, bedding women, trained with Ducard,LOS also worlds best detective minds.Keaton was almost emo, emotionally retarded, angst ridden to the point of distraction,no confidence and uneasy with himself. Please read up on some Batman then talk to me again OK.Also Max never existed in any Batman comic or book.

  • @ComicBookGeezer I understand that Batman is a hero, as a real batman fan you should know that. Bale is also the first batman who got beaten up by the joker, that is not batman. Christian Bale has got a big ego unlike Keaton. he didn't get anything right in the Dark Knight. Batman is not a loser like Bale he is a hero. btw Bob Kane who helped creating batman also worked on Batman 89 dont tell me that i don't know anything about batman.

  • @Mercenary78

Batman has only one rule:don't kill...you didn't know that. Also Batman has been beaten up badly in books like The Cult (mentally broken) also Knightfall by Bane.I don't see where you are going with that point? So you would also know that Joe Chill killed Bruce's parent's and not The Joker. And ego? Bruce Wayne is one big ego, read the books. And you don't know Batman...you didn't even know his only rule. And you're comment 'Batman is not loser like Bale' dude grow up!

  • Comment removed

  • @Mercenary78

Batman is always questioning himself in the comics, its part of the attraction that Batman is human. There is a sense of danger with Batman because in theory he can be killed, beaten up etc.Don't confuse Batman with Superman. And like humans he can make mistakes, that's why every writer at least want's to do one Batman story. He didn't save Jason Todd from The Joker in A death in the family, this haunts him.Batman is not perfect, just a lot,lot better than others,he is human!

  • @ComicBookGeezer Ok i understand your point, but do you understand mine?

What do you prefer: A batman, who can save a life, is a hero and saves Gotham city like Keaton? or do you like a Batman, who fails saving a life, and he had to run away from the police and he doesn't want to be batman anymore and throws away his mask? I prefer keaton, bale is not even in my list.

  • @Mercenary78 Dude Batman threw away his mask for the greater good of Gotham, that was the whole point. He didn't want people to know that Harvey had been corrupted (meaning The Joker had won) so he sacrificed himself. It was an awesome end to the film. The Joker won that battle, but Batman will win the war.I don't want a perfect Batman no.That's boring and formulaic.Nolan has paid homage to nearly 50 years of Batman back story while at the same time giving us a mature, serious trilogy.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mercenary78 David Goyer has collaborated on all three films with Nolan.Google his name please then you will see for yourself,Goyer has as much understanding of comic books as anyone else.Batman got it right at the end of TDK..he actually became more than a hero.Saved Rachel when The Joker pushed her from a window, read these books OK:Batman year one,The Long Halloween,The Killing Joke,Cocophony,A death in the family,Hush,Arkham Asylum..good,important story arc's:)

  • @Mercenary78 Dude you can like who you want and that's cool,at least we have choice about who's adaptation we prefer:)

    Anyway was cool chatting.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mercenary78

Yeah I agree with you there, but also there are a lot of people that have trolled me too:( usual crap like 'Nolanite' etc..and one guy who is just totally obnoxious, wont listen to reason and does not have any knowledge on the subject at all...there are good and bad in both camps I am afraid..so you have proven that not all Burton fans are retarded and trolls too!

    Take care bro:)

  • Isn't it the director, as well as production's fault his voice is like that? lol

  • Your mom is overrated...

  • Bale is a fantastic Bruce Wayne, but a shitty Batma.

  • COOKIES num num num

  • Stop making fun of bale don't you know he has throat cancer?
