  • Cool responses everybody.

  • History is a work of fiction written by the vanquishers of every age to mislead those they plan to vanquish next.

  • My source is Wikipedia: Jacopo Sannazaro

  • Has anyone tried to find the source of the suggested quote by Jacopo Sannazaro? I did. This is what I found: "With the Arcadia behind him, Sannazaro concentrated on Latin works of classical inspiration. His Virgilian bucolic works include the five Eclogae piscatoriae, eclogues on themes connected with the Bay of Naples".

The quote is from a fucking poem!

  • wow mithec, you are f*cking high

  • 1st off the top (medieval) helmet is actually an ancient Samnite helm. This is seriously ridiculous. My Great grandmother walked to Pompeii when she was a little girl believe me this video is shit!!!!!

  • You commys shood thank before you speek. This man is grate thanker and he have grate stuff hear wich proof Ken James Bible true and all that Rome stuff all commy and quoir.

  • There was no jesus christ not in year 1 and not in year 1053. If you are fabricating shit like this you could at least stop being populisic piece of shit.

  • i am God

  • rate this 1* or i will eat you. post this comment to one of this stupid man's other videos or i will also eat you.

  • Well why coudn't other Christian pilgrims make clans and city's on the ruins of Pompeii?

  • Jacopo Sannazaro was sort of a writer/ poet. His works were inspired by true events, but historically inaccurate.

Just like many later famous authors, William Shakespeare and his Macbeth. "Spiced" writings loosely based on true story.

Other points rise aren't that strong either.

  • Yea if you were in the 15th century, you can fine that easily. Why not? Every thing was covered by hot ash that came down!

To day they found so many ROMAN pagan coins and other items that were not in the 15th century!! As well as writings

  • Dude medieval hamlets and Visors? They do not lok like it!

If any thing it looks more like Gladiator armor, and the Romans were more then able to make such armors!!! This gos with the medical stuff as well...

  • plyny the younger, born in the 15th century, wow all other records to him are false.

  • What if ancient Egypt was invented? What if WWII was invented? and the first gulf war? What if you're actually a robot and your childhood was invented?

History: illogical? It all makes sense but the Boston tea party.

  • Archaeological, dendrochronological, paleographical and carbon methods of dating of ancient sources and artifacts are both non-exact and contradictory, therefore there is not a single piece of firm written evidence or artifact that could be reliably and independently dated earlier than the XI century.

  • I agree with you there. What are you saying? History was made up before the renaissance?

  • This is a really poor way to promote Fomenko's work. I have read the first two books, and he demonstrates the mathematics he uses and multiple examples to support his theories. The books are not an easy read though and take some time to compare with other sources.

  • That Fomenko character should stick to mathematics.

  • Chronology was a subdivision of Mathematics.

  • LOL... .What if Jesus Christ was born in 1053 A.D and crucifyed in 1086 A.D What if Rome, Greece, And Egypt were inventions of the rennesonce ....... This is too fuuny

  • leading mathematician of our time..to be leading you must be known..oops, not so leading.

  • what these books say is probably true, because back in those days anyone could write a book, but now we know someone is writing these books because back then who knows the bible could be full of lies

  • evidence>google>books>fomenko

  • In order to challenge the popular understanding of history you might do well to present some real evidence other than soggy conjecture. Failing that you could at least spell medieval correctly.....

  • Actually 'mediaeval' is a correct spelling of the word.

  • before commenting: google>books>fomenko, thank you for your time.

  • The cross is a sign from pre-christian pagan times

in the first century the christians were exemplary, pompeii not a Christian town, perhaps the God of the bible, Jehovah destroyed it for being pagan

  • I do not think it was a christian town there were temples dedicated to God's who were fallen angels. A christian town would not have statue's, and worship idols. There was also a secret cult that worshiped the God of wine, and many orgies took place here.

  • You've never been down town on a friday night havwe you?

  • ...aaaand that's a bad thing, Why?
