I love this movie. The whole cast was outstanding and Tara Morice is over the top charming. If I had one critique it would have preferred they stopped dancing for the last kiss. Very minor but the love story was so enchanting I wanted to see some soulful eye contact before the kiss :-)
My Aunt did the trailers for this movie and I got to see a preview of it in Sydney in 1992. Since then this movie has had a special place in my heart. I was just a teenager then. I guess I had good taste even back then ;)

I had the privilege to see this film in Sydney before it came out. My Aunt did the Trailers (previews) for this film and so I saw a screening along with the people from Qantas airlines who were deciding if they were going to show it on their flights. The Qantas people loved it and so did I! I left this movie feeling like dancing at that I could conquer the world. My father has passed away the year before at this may have been the first time I smiled. Thanks Strictly Ballroom!

I love him and Fran they are so good together. Fran wasn't to together in the beginning but she sure because a beautiful swan later. Great job!
@Hartleyrose I first saw him as Joseph as well. Then i started wondering had he acted in anything else and came across this movie and loved it. He's really a ballroom dancer which i think is awesome
