OMG...Beggar's Opera, Queens Village and the pool hall above the club. I was just underage to see Twisted at Beggar's but we used to listen to them at the load-in door by the stairs for the pool hall. I used to see Twisted at Mad Hatter, Brooklyn Zoo, Lamour's...some of the best rnr shows ever!
