The only way these thing work is if you have 120v motors running all the time like a swimming pool. What they dont show is what they use waiting for something to do its about 3 amps the eqivilent to a pair of energy star refridgerators with the doors left open. So ask these guys to tell you the amp draw when you are not running 110v motors. These can hlp if your home is an energy pig.
Nonetheless, by most accounts and technical research, it appears that if your bill does reflect a kva charge, or a demand penalty, (in most cases, industrial and commercial instances) then kvar technology may provide you with some ease. More emphasis has to be placed on your utility company's billing structure as far as ascertaining if the technology is primarily valid and or relative.
I am not disputing that kvar does not work, at least not yet, however this demonstration does not endorse the technology; it actually disproves it.!! It does not take highly trained vision to identitfy the disparity in the position of the utility meter's black tab, at the beginning and conclusion of our savvy experiment. Roll the film back guys, observe the meter's position on both the counts!!! --- "FOWL!!"---
C'mon guys, if you were to examine the video accurately, it's clear that either this gentleman's watch or his timing are a bit off...., possibly by 4-5 seconds!!??
I normally hate commenting on posts but people need to realize that arguments on both sides can be valid. So yes its true you won't see 20-30% savings on homes because there isn't enough line losses and waste (reactive power) in homes. However on the flipside, if you installed a KVAR unit sized on a motor running 24 hours 7 days a week in an isolated circuit straight to the MCC I guarantee you will see improvement of power factor and a reduction in kWh. This is where the KVAR performs.
Its really funny how people can say scam when they in NO WAY are qualified to say such a thing. I have one, I am NOT a dealer, and my savings are averaging 18%. Go away skeptics until you can prove your case. As far as the internet search goes... Let me ask you... do you believe in GOD? I can give you a thousand websites that says he does not exist.... point made?
I really liked your channel and this video. If you need any help getting this video exposed I use a site called tubeviews.(net) It has really helped like 20 of my main videos get to the top in position. Its nice.
There is software im using to send atleast 20,000 text message a day advertising my online business...it is amazing. I think they have a free demo to try as well autotextsender.(c0m) God Bless!
I was able to demonstrate the same thing at home with a Kvar unit installed. I pulled all the breakers except the one that the dehumidifier runs on and was able to slow down the meter by about 4 seconds.
This is a prim example of way people with degrees look so dumb.I know a lot of people with Degrees and they all have there heads stuck in the sand. They need to go out into the real world and see what is happening! But will they? No they will not! They just set in the office getting fatter and waiting on the rest of us to fix everything for them. There is a new generation of Engineers coming out soon. So step aside old school, the new school is here!
ugly101 is correct. The energy saving is trivial, he's running an unloaded splitphase motor, the savings are about 3% even under these conditions, where he's perfectly correcting for one motor, without knowing what your house has in the way of motors, which can vary greatly. Also, note the motor is pulling 5.5 amps even unloaded, a characteristic of very inefficient old designs. Sounds like a scam to me. But I'm only a degreed engineer, what do I know!
If it worked in would be built in every new home.

I am not a electrician foxs but how this save energy if have capacitor the capacitor need to be charged with same energy ???
if this work corret and save where can I buy one?

You are absolutely correct! It does suck amps from the power line when everything else are off.
I have done experiments to prove that it is true.

"I am assuming this unit is nothing more than a capacitor"
You would be correct.
