Jarni and Asanovic were playerd for Hajduk Split. They would be on the Croatia team that got 3rd place at the World Cup held in France in 1998. Jarni has a World Cup winners medal at U19 level with Yugoslavia from 1987. A team that also included Prosinecki, Mihaljovic, Stimac and Boban to name but a few
