Great work as always from Buschur. In a way you guys are lucky to have a track that will let you run those passes without having a cage. Where I am, if you run faster than 11.50 without one they won't let you race anymore. I would still want one though in a serious car like this lol. Keep up the good work guys.

@LUDE4LIFE1 i think up here in seattle if you run 11.5 you must have a roll bar but do not need a full cage and and at ll.00 you need a full cage and anything below that you have to be licensed and have a full cage i think

a roll bar wont help to stop it from being like that. Sure for safety because i can assure you itll give you the pucker factor.

its the effect of each side of the cars wheels spinning at different rates due to the differentials and the ACD trying to maintain an equal amount of torque going to each wheel.

Ah I was just saying that thing spins out there and I have seen from working at a track it doesn't take much for those things to catch on the one side, spin on the other and send it into the wall and/or roll it. Hence I'd put something in there.

why not go to a air to water intercooler, huge gains could be made with the change since the air to air does nothing on a drag strip, whats your position on it? is the client trying to keep a certain look or are you avoiding the complication?

@xXtogoodXx - The "client" is the owner of Buschur Racing who has been working with the 4G63 engine since 1989 and has tested about every combination possible on the cars & engines. The water to air is a ton of extra weight so what you MIGHT make over out Race Intercooler you would trump with the extra weight. Our Race FMIC has gone 8.88 @ 173mph. It functions quite well. :)

I will bet you a million bucks that its running straight race gas and boost. Ever hear of a 2 step launch control? Well that is a feature that is used to leave the line on boost to get the car out of the hole. When the 2 step isnt set high enough the car bogs which is what happened on the first pass.

It's a joke if you ask me. Any other track and you'd be dropped in 1/2 second. It should have a cage and a parachute to run those times. However, if you take out the interior and add a cage it'll gain weight... and then they couldn't claim it to be a "street car" either. Let's not get into the CF driveshaft and everything else.
