I've actually talked to cliff, who this guitar is being auctioned for. We talked guitars and amps and stuff - he rang me in New Zealand. He has the destroyallguitars website. Very cool website with some incredible gear. Anyhow, i pointed him to some far superior treatment centres than he was presently using, then i never heard from him again. Weird! I Google his house and its enormous. A very big mansion. So who doesn't have any money. I'm confused beyond mention. Whats the money paying for?

@undergroundamericana When you press on the Whammy bar, the strings are very loose so the tape prevents the strings to get stucked on the pickups (especially the neck pickup) when you release the whammy bar.

If he's giving his own money to Cliff (I bet it happened already), we would never know about it.

If this is the money that raised from an event, it will be a different story. 2nd, this disease is very rare, I read somewhere that it only occurs one in a hundred million or something, and this is the 2nd concert that they organised for Cliff, so obviously it takes huge amount of money

BTW: B sure the set-neck mahogany Jem version has alnico 'old school' style chrome cover pickups on it, with metal rings! =D Sound WAAAAY awesome. I got a red $200 'Kramer Special' that I put chrome locking hardware & stuff on with the silver rings & man it sounds so damn good - like an SG, & loox even BETTER than an SG or the ESP Viper which is what they're really ripping off. Also changed the metal knobs 2 light plastic 4 improved 'resonance' & 'detail' (don't laugh guys it really helps).

Hey WTF Steve, if U R willing 2 do a PLASTIC body with floating goo in it, least U should do is try out a SET NECK MAHOGANY VERSION OF THE JEM! =) & it will sound SOOOO Much better than the other Jems U use. It will still B 'Jem', just 'Set Neck Mahogany Jem!' =D Perhaps with ash back, if it's 7 string, as the lows just fart on mahogany basses or 7s (2 soft). The mids & highs R so very awesome tho' - way awesomer than that basswood/balsakrap. GET ON IT! =)  Hell I'd buy 1 of those!
