Also, I love the vertical/horizontal switch on the plasma cutter. I love the precision dismemberment. I use vertical for the arms and horizontal for the legs.

Why do they always touch the mysterious artifact? You 'd think people would just leave them alone, I mean really has it ever ended well for the characters?

They should have warnings like; Mysterious artifacts cause death and terribleness. Touch at the peril of you, your crew and the inevitable team of rescuers trying to save your stupid ass.

@ILoveEDDSWORLD13 of course not! you have to use video game math. There were 1000 people on board, we have 3 living people running around on the ship so 1000 for each of them, you can use a gun which means a 100 multiplier for the monsters, and the game makers decided that for every corpse turned necromorph 3 more necromorphs will spawn somewhere on the ship. So 1000 x 3 x 100 x 3 = 900000. And since Kendra and Hammond are useless Isaac gets to kill them all by himself!!!

Bad shooting? Compared to alot of LPers/streamers you are straight up 1337, so I wouldn't worry about it, no offense to them or anything, not like it matters anyway.

Never noticed before, but it looked like that necro with the metallic looking pants was just soaking up your leg shots. Could be wrong.

If you cant take out the head first try to go for the legs, it slows them down and helps quite a bit. I also wouldnt worry to much about getting the flamethrower there is alot better weapons you could get.

I just have to say that despite how grisly it is, Dead Space has some incredible graphics, between smoke, lighting, the slight impressions and depressions on surfaces affecting light (like the words on the floor right outside the tram), and the slight wrinkles of the protagonist's suit and how everything is affected by orientation and light sources from all around.
