It'll work very well. Just be careful when you get it fully up on pipe. Your boat may get dangerously loose. Mine did. I had to run my tabs down a bit and trim in a touch of negative on the strut.
I was still pretty new at finding the sweet spot with the third channel needle. I like to get it just where the "bah bah" just smooths out. Then I know I am not too lean. It's still a freakin fast boat.
