I love quake games and this game is very well executed.

Now remember quake fans this is more of a ET then a quake.

It is ET set in quake 2/4 universe.

I still play quake1,2,QL and ET WOLF and this one.

And it is amazing for Deathmatch quake all the way for team based ETWOLF and ETQW.

There was something magical about Quake 1. It did exactly what it set out to do. The deathmatch was perfect and the gameplay was RAW. It was the perfect culmination of the Doom games and Q1 has probably not been bested yet as of gameplay, unless you consider Q3 arena through OSP.

I think the days of those games are over, never to return. But as long as there are quake live servers running, Im cool with that. Listen to Carmacks own talk about quakelive from the 2005 expo...

lol wat the hell this game is retarded. not by the story or the gameplay but becuase the physics make no sense. i have had: a tank blow up in my face when i stabbed it, a gate closing on me when i parachuted, a lunar lander crush me, got shot with a rocket or something while in a helecopter NOT killing me but killing almost all my teamates.

I could make a better game on flash player 4. If you enjoy this game its becuase you lack skill in other games such as CoD4 or Halo 2 (not to be confused with the far inferioir Halo 3) This games graphic quallity makes me want to choke a puppy and the amount of hits it takes to kill someone might be a little more bearable if more then 50% of your shots would register.

oO i HATE it, when someone says (its said in many reviews) the classes of the GDF and Stroggs would be the same..

NOTHING is the same on these classes.. their main function is the same (field ops and Opressors are getting in artillery), but they all do it another way.. so the strogg medic (called technician) revives his teammates with stroyent, which takes a few seconds, the GDF medic can do this without losing time. but for balancing, the technician can make hosts (for respawning on the corpse

all the classes are nearly exactly the same, with the exception of one or two changes, like on clas dropping amo while one makes spawn hosts out of dead bodies.

yeah, u're not right (sorry for that ;)) just as an example, opressor and field ops ;).. opressor takes down a laser, which destroys and kills enemies about 10 seconds.. it holds off enemies from moving forward ;).. the other one, the vampire, gets down in 1 seconds, leaving no chance to get away ;).. every class is different, only their overall function is the same ;)..
