  • How big are those things?

  • @toomuchcrack1 Usually just a couple inches, but I've come across some unusually large ones closer to 5 inches.

  • Does anyone know...how they actually get this footage?

i mean they gotta be so deep below the sea!

  • @FREEKILL117 Takes a long time! If you google "Champ Williams deep sea news" you'll find an interview where I describe the process in detail.

  • 3:46 somehow i think they look like a bunker thats waithing for doeing a charge against someone

  • can this thing bite humans?

  • No, I don't think its likely they would bite a person. Unlike most nudibranchs though, they actually have a calcified beak. Its really quite small though!

  • Good film. I got a book on Nudibranch's and it says that there MOST of the time smaller.

    but that is cool

  • @Marycute121 You're right, most of the time they are 2-3 inches. When I've seen them in dense sea pen beds they are usually 3-4.

  • GO TEAM SEA SLUG!

  • Catch this film on the big screen at the 6th San Francisco Ocean Film Festival, February 19-22, 2009. More at oceanfilmfest[dot]org

  • That is so cool! I love it!
