Genius - she said "get a job" because the woman with a kid said something along the lines of "I don't have health insurance because I am on my own." The woman said "get a job" to say "There are millions of employers who would give you access to your own health insurance. Sorry, but in order for that to happen, you will have to get off your lazy ass and start working. Life sucks, but I am not interested in paying for it for you just because you refuse to get a job." Get it now, dumbass?

Not every job out there provides adequate health insurance that provides full coverage, so if those people get sick they go bankrupt. Most of these fat ugly rednecks at the town hall meeting are blue collar anyways, so none of them have full coverage. Not one of these fat reds is making over 50 a year.

Right, so she should get a job that DOES provide the opportunity to get health insurance. And you don't automatically go bankrupt because you don't get free healthcare, so I don't really understand your point. Group HMO plans generally max out at $1 million of coverage, so I guess you are screwed if you require a full body transplant, but not just because "people get sick". If you can't afford $250 a month for insurance, Medicaid is already available.
