I'm a big fan of her. But she needs to change her coach if she wants to be on top again. She just lost in straight sets in the Aussie open. As usual, like she did when she lost to Cljiters last year, double fault her way out. Her coach is not doing anything to improve her serve and she must fire him. I know they've been toghether a long while but business is business.
@robertskwh Erm...you should've known that her injury had partly contributed to her loss in AO this yr, and changing her long term coach would destroy her completely. Her serve isn't her strong point in the past and yet she had won 7 GS as well, so I dun think we should blame Carlos for everything. It's not easy to coach and Justine trusted him alot. Without Carlos, Justine wouldn't be able to maximize and utilize her Tennis talent to win those GS. Anyway, this is just my own opinion.
@cabomba - well then can you say she could've won more slams in the past if her serve was better? C'om during the tiebreak last week henin served 3 double faults. that is not acceptable. college tennis ok but not slams. it;s not even normal. im not expecting her to serve like sampras or roddick she deserved to lose that day. it was painful to watch the best tennis player doing this. also pls rem that everyone is hungry and training hard. then how abt a coach specialize just for serving?
@robertskwh Look she really had a serious injury on her arm which affected her serve, she couldn't serve well without pain. It's easier said than done. It's sad that Justine tries so hard trying to push her limits but then her body lets her down sometimes.
And now you're referring to an injured state of Justine and mind that she hasn't been really playing tennis for a while. Hopman cup is more of a practice session than a real thing. So you can't really blame everything to her coach.
I'm so happy our "Poetry in Motion" is back ... to business! Sheer talent, it shows with every move she makes, just fabulous even to watch her hitting balls.
