He has a DS-1 that has been modded and is on almost all the time (even during the clean channel) It's some weird way to get better tone. He also uses a big muff pedal for his solo's. I was lucky enough to be right in front of him at a show in Canada. His tone is awesome. Sounds like there is some compression as well. That really helps note sing like that

u no what people, gh re-inspired me to pick up a guitar again, i found my love for guitar again, and i no its just buttons, but gh is a waysome people get inspired to like rock and pick up an instrament, i used to be die hard rap fan but now i love heavy metal and rock, so dont knock guitar hero, its not ment to be a guitar game, its a game with a guitar shped controller and color ful buttons, and nothing else

Actually, the first time I ever heard of Slash was because the translators of Chrono Trigger turned three mid-boss joke characters into rock references. Since then, though, I've been grateful of the introduction.
Not everyone is a musical erudite, and not all music fans know every important figure in every musical genre. Especially those who weren't into music during said figure's heyday. But Slash's public profile has raised quite a bit recently, and we're well aware of the reason why.

ok im just saying you shouldnt walk into the music scene thinkin ur a know it all when ur knowledge comes from a video game where u press colored buttons. And alphabit, i have a life so tahts why im not good at the game that looks like the controller is supposed to be in a baby's crib. I play normal guitar tho, infact i can play cliffs of dover, so good for u if u can hit 5 buttons fast enough to beat it on the game but try 6 strings X 24 frets.

Probably a very small amount of distortion on the amp, I haven't figured out what to put the highs, meds, and lows at yet though....

He has a DS-1 that has been modded and is on almost all the time (even during the clean channel) It's some weird way to get better tone. He also uses a big muff pedal for his solo's. I was lucky enough to be right in front of him at a show in Canada. His tone is awesome. Sounds like there is some compression as well. That really helps note sing like that
