even if you get 2.5Mbps at night your netflix or youtube videos will run like shit. I moved from 5Mbps dsl which ran the majority of the time at 1.2Mbps all day to Time warner which basically runs like my old broadband provider. These companies keep adding new customers but never upgrade their infrastructure so in the beginning for new customers they will get about 13Mbps for only one week then everything goes to shit. That's what they did to me and friends who have twc.

Stay away from cable unless you are planning on getting the 50/5 for $90 a month wideband from timewarner. If you get the 50mbps you will lose about 30Mbps but atleast you will have 20Mbps at night. If you get 15Mbps like me you will get 1.5 -2.2 Mbps starting from 4:00pm till next day i guess 5:00am in the morning. Cable companies get government subsidies and still won't upgrade their hardware or add more cable lines around cities to support the extra bandwidth.

they r really fucked. i call them yesterday one of bitch answered... they can not help me because i use cable service with wireless router on it... this is 2011. they must upgrade there service. -_-; they r suck so bad... because having a wireless router on it speed does not drop down.

I have the same internet provider. They say my speed should be 10-15mbs but it's actually .3-.7mbs. i get excited when I get a fraction of what I actually should be getting, which would be around .9mbs, lol.

My download speed went down to 0.3 every night, I called them many times and they don't want to give me refund but also can't fix the problem. I found a 4g network and canceled WTC, the 4g gives me 6-12mb but has higher latency, hey at least I finally feel like I have a working internet now.

2 of my friends live in Queens NY also canceled their WTC recently due to the same problem.

actually, when I said .50 that was the typical shit speed I was getting around 0.29 download speed and upload speed get as low as 0.18..

I'm not making this up, I have snap shots of these pics that I sent to clearwire and still have the.

Sorry, I'm just not impressed with your lack of speed or how much TWC was ripping you off of.

ironicly I'll be changing to TWC soon, so good luck with whoever you're switching with.

my speed is 10mb/s - 15mb/s. I use to have 1mb/s. I found out my pc was filled with viruses slowing it down. Norton 360 fixed my problem now I get 10mb/s - 15mb/s :D

i see all these videos with people complaining about there internet or cable or service which is funny cuz in my area the service is fine and i have 1 cable line with a splitter running my cable and internet and i can watch HD fine and i get 13mbsp so i guess i just got a good town for time warner

I have Roadrunner in CLeveland ohio and for the past year mine does the same thing. I have their 15mb with speedbooster they gave me for a 2yr promotion for 30.00 Month. I only get 15mb plus during the hours of 1am-6am.

All other hours my speeds are under 5mb. I have had numerous idiot techs out here and they all say its because they have too many customers on the same node. It hasn't been fixed. They say how is 20.00 for the trouble? A years worth of dialup service overpaying 20.00 month
