  • i love this man !

  • WoW <3

  • wow, einfach nur wow!

  • 1:08 is amazing =)

  • this is great. but the tassels and straight up leather outfit is a bit distracting

  • If only my horse had that self carriage.... At 2:56 that is just amazing. No bit, no bridle, just a strap around his neck. Wow. This guy is my new inspiration.

  • 1:07 is beautiful!

  • Estupendo!!!! I love caballos! :)

  • while these are pretty images, there are a few things to consider. these are only still shots. how does these horses look in motion? furthermore, people sometimes train behind closed doors in a different way than they do in public. anky is a good example...she practices rolkur, which is controversial (and cruel, IMHO), and rides completely differently in the ring. take everything with a grain of salt, esp. on youtube. horses should be treated with respect, as conscious beings, not asmotorcycles.

  • This school specializes in treating horses with respect so your comment is rather well i don't know how to but it but horses wouldn't have this kind of trust in a rider if they forced them to do it, also they open up to visitors to watch them train. Its siad that spurs have never walked into there grounds.

  • You can surely find videos of him. But most of all it's working in hands, and only 5% of riding in raising horses like that. No bits, absolute freedom of action and choice. If ever his PERSONAL example still seems to be half-true to you, over net you can find hundreds and thousands of people training in the same way and getting most fantasitc results if you compare to standart bit-practices.......

It's up to you. There is his web-site and many of his followers to see and to know....

  • Good points - there's another one, the Frenchman who rides 4 to 8 horses at a time, standing on them; I have heard that some of his methods are less than desirable.

    Look up "Lukas, smartest horse"

  • @katymego check out sky212's videos and you'll see what it's rly like- in motion.

  • wow - so beautiful!

  • Beautiful horses! Amazing riding...

  • amazing how much these horses trust him! sitting on that horse with all four in the air is breath taking.

  • how can i and my horse learn this?

  • See, this is exactly the wrong question. Most of the time, it's not the horse that needs improvement - but the rider. ;)

  • If I had my own horse, i will try to ride without bits, lead him without any halter:)

  • 2.28 is a fab picture!!!!! lol

  • Yeah! It's very fab!

  • HOW DO they do that???

  • easily and with great pleasure

  • and if seriously, without any bridles, bits, halters, never. And no punishment overall.

  • I would be very interested in seeing some videos of you riding. :)

  • I'm sorry, but to whom are you talking ?

I'm not sure that personally to me...(but your answers comes to my mail-box...)

  • es una pasada, esta muy bien, ojala el mio tambien pudiese hacer todo eso como estos 3 caballos.

  • Gracias =)

  • look at this then look at showjumping, dressage and rodeo horses - they do it not because they want to, but because they have no choice. that is the truth. you try going round a showjumping course, big crowd and all, bareback with no saddle and bit. bit stuck now aint ya?

  • Not really. Horses are stronger than humans. They can resist, and regularly do, if they dont want to do what is required of them. A horse doesnt make a cross country horse if he doesnt like to jump.

  • If you were a horse doing 'sport', I don't think you would resist that much if when doing this the bit would hit at once all nerves of your head which are finishing directly on the brain;).....

  • ACtually used correctly the bit does nothing of the sort. A good rider does nothing more than squeeze on the reins, and a great rider needs no reins at all. And to be perfectly honest the usual reaction a horse has to such rough treatment is to deposit the rider on the ground rather sharpish.

  • Okay.... Once again for those who first reads, then asks and then thinks.

Bit ANYWAY is affecting the extra-sensitive nerves of the head situated in lower jaw, in the tongue which ANY bit affects, in the palate which appeares to be touched by crossing of a snaffle(for example) if you pull the reins.

Controlling horse through painful degree of these effects IS the aim of bit. What else to think here????

  • I'm really sorry, but you clearly dont know the first thing about riding or equitation if you think a correct rider hurts the horse with the bit, so I'm not going to continue a conversation with an ignoramus who argues on topics they clearly know nothing about. Goodbye.

  • xD xD xD

    wao wao wao:).

  • sounds SO serious that even 'can' be 'true' :))

  • and straddled across his spinal cord has no effect on his neuromuscular system or is that acceptable as long as it is not in his mouth

  • LOL great argument! Yeah, I have to say I think his reasoning and teachings are really ridiculous! He does wonderful things with horses, but his way of riding is nearly impossible to achieve.

  • i agree with you, his riding is beatiful and if you can get your horse to perform like that with no bit its fantastic but i dont feel bits do any harm as long as you are responsable. his riding is epic but as you said its almost impossible to acheive. still if you are capable of doing that with your horse you have done extrordinarly well!

  • if a great rider needs no reins at all, then why do they use them?

and he's not saying that a correct rider hurts his horse with a bit. i'm sure he meant the truth; that hurting a horse with a bit and spurs makes you look correct to judges. but clearly not, because ecole doesn't, and he's one of the most CORRECT horsemen i've seen in my life.

  • No, he's using a bit is wrong. Hurting a horse with bits and spurs doesnt make you look correct to the judges at all...in fact in dressage the whole point is to look like you aren't giving the horse any aids at all. Riders use reins because that is the convention, to use the bit to control the horse. It is however possible to control the horse with no bridle and saddle at all. Its just not the way it is done large scale. The point is that a correct squeeze on the reins doesnt hurt the horse.

  • do you know the meaning of ecole. It is not a person's name as you have implied in your comment

  • NHE is on his way to get extrem.....to extrem, it is not more about horses, as they pretend, it is about NHE and Mr. Alexander Nevzorov that you never have to question !

And so they try to gather and to keep only folks that follow him and his doctrins almost blind and without thinking.

  • Beware of Alexander and Nevzorov Haute Ecole. It is turning into a cult. His followers have taken it to the EXTREME.Its all about Alexander and NHE. It's not about horses anymore. Please beware!!!

  • He's got extreme ideas about bits and equipment. So what? Why do so many people jump to defend the old ways? I don't agree with everything he says, but I think he has an excellent point--that there is a better way of riding and relating to your horse.

You obviously are too afraid to break away. If you did some small research about him you'd learn it's ALL about the horses. Nevzorov is not the only one who thinks like this: check out Hempfling too. He puts to bed the superstitions of "control".

  • Kolibri2005,

First of all I believe in not using bit's. I train problem horses and have found bits to cause so much pain and have had horses want to run and have reared with me when I use bits. And I have did research and talked to people who have quit because it is simpily getting to extreme!Join the forum and read what they are saying.I have read all the posts and done research into people who have been banned and who left have you?

  • I know someone who had done NHE for quite a long time and was affliated with NHE but quit. Here is a direct quote of what the person told me: NHE is on his way to get extrem.....to extrem, it is not more about horses, as they pretend, it is about NHE and Mr. Alexander Nevzorov that you never have to question !

And so they try to gather and to keep only folks that follow him and his doctrins almost blind and without thinking.I hope that I am not seeing what is really going on.

  • Well I'm glad to see that you have done some research and are pro-natural horsemanship at least. I definitely agree that he has harshly unbending rules, and some very extreme ideas. I have not joined the forum for a few different reasons, so I don't know exactly what is said there. I guess I just feel that a person could learn his techniques and then rearrange it to fit their style. Nevzorov doesn't want that, but I feel it's better than being too extreme or clinging to the old ways.

  • I guess I just feel that a person could learn his techniques and then rearrange it to fit their style. Nevzorov doesn't want that. That is exactly what I am saying Kolibri2005.

  • So I guess what I would do if I DID decide to practice NHE is to join the group for a while, maybe a few years, until I had managed to get a good relationship with one horse so I have an idea of how it is done, and then just do it on my own. I wouldn't be considered a true NHE person though, I guess, so yeah, you do have a point. But I still feel that what he can do with horses carries a lot of weight.

  • If you look into his website, you will find a link under "friends" (I think) to a guy called Michael Bevilacqua. He does NHE in Canada and seems to be less extreme than Nevzorov, even though he is the official representative of NHE in the U.S. and Canada. I actually liked Bevilacqua more than Nevzorov. He seemed much more positive, and had some good stories and pictures.

I guess I just got upset because I thought you were yet another person defending using a bit. Glad to see you're not!

  • DUDE...stop running your damn mouth on EVERY YouTube video about NHE and I will stop harassing you. Oh, and learn to use spell check... EXTREM is not a word...And stop copy/pasting your stupid ass ignorant comments too; that is called spam. It pisses EVERYBODY OFF. Seems you need a Schoolhouse Rock on not being a dumbass *HEADDESK*

  • *HEADDESK* is not a word either.

  • Breathtakingly beautiful

  • Me encanto el video eso si que es arte y la música fantastica.

  • Cómo mola Carol!! ^^
