I´m not talking about spoilt in a financial or social way. Nowitzki is actually from a very nice cosy upper middle class family. I meant, he didn´t just get his talent handed to him, and everybody singing his sports praises from 16 yr old. Lebron and Wade pretty much knew they´d be big in the NBA on from when they were teens. Dirk came from the second league in one part of Germany... He had to doubt he had the stuff after his rookie year. From there he slowly become finals MVP at 32.

@doule76 I agree with you, but this championship season for Dirk was not all by himself, he did have Jason Kidd, a top 5 point guard of all time, doing what he does best; Jason Terry, definitely the best sixth man in the league; Tyson Chandler, top 10 center in the NBA right now, does good defensively; Caron Butler in the season prior to his injury, he is an all star lots of potential; Shawn Marion, all around all star; JJ Barea, great sixth man top 5 in league, so he had all star cast man.
