it was crazy. I was there. they do this show every hour on the hour friday sat and sun. . I work at a store facing this BS in the middle of the beverly center and all everyone heard was gasps when she fell... 720p image resolution 921,600 pixels (roughly equivalent to a 1 mega pixel camera) yes for a still image but is not for broadcast specs or motion or even interlacing. and fps is usually 30i for tv and 24 for film (FYI) i do not understand where you get this 25. We have NTSC and not pal. and the depth for a 1mp is horrable and thats why 720 or anything will bet it. and i hope the girl is ok and that people stop fighting over youtube. ;)

Sure a 1mp camera would be pretty bad for stills however for a video it is exceptionally good quality higher than SD and 720p HD if you consider that every frame per second (usually 25/30) will be at the quality of 1mp then you can see why it would be considered good quality.

This camera is certainly not 1mp and the user has not stated the resolution.

40 foot fall and she survives!? Unbelievable. This is truly a miracle that the video projector box somehow cushioned her fall without killing her. The fact that the shopping mall Beverly Center is located directly across the street from a Level 1 Trauma center definitely I am sure also helped her as well. If anyone witnessed this event, would you mind describing in more detail the rescue?

Actually is was reported that the fall was more like 18-22 feet. It's still a miracle she is alive. I don't understand why they weren't wearing some kind of harness or safety devise. I hope she is well.
