Thx for this. I have a question. I'd like to use explosion effects for translation but in my text I have /N so the effect doesn't work well. However "blow" works with /N. Why "explosion" doesn't? Can it be fixed?

@wiechu01 if you put \N blow effect doesn't work correctly, too.

1. split the line(with \N) into two lines.

2. assign same timing to two lines.

3. assign a different vert margin to one of two lines.

***how to assing a different vert margin***

you can see 0 0 0 above the edit box.

right 0 is vert margin, put a different margin from base margin assigned by style manager.

poyointa2001 one last think please ! i need to make somethnig. i want my karaoke subs in middle up and my translate subs middle down . when i move them with aegisub is ok , then i apply karaoke effect and the karaoke subs are middle down again. how i will change the poition now ?

@0p4p0us after applying the template, all your tags in the karaoke lines are removed by karaoke templater.

So, if you want to change the sub's position, use style manager and set alignment and margins.

@pyointa2001 i use virtualdub but i dont see them :/ i download it and i copy the aegisub text sub etc and chance it to vdf ( i think dont remember exactly.) but anyway i dont see the karaoke subs in the vid. did i need to download something else more maybe use some more options? what ? :'(

@0p4p0us are you sure watching output pane? VirtualDub has two panes. one is input pane, the other is output pane.

Question: I have both kanji and romaji lines at the top of the screen at alignment 8. When I apply the effect, it moves them both to the same position and they overlap, which I don't want. I want the kanji on the very top and then the romaji right below it. How do I fix this?

@KonaKaga5600 You can adjust the position by algnment and margins. Set the appropriate (different) vertical margins to both kanji and romaji lines.

It position rectangles in the near of text center (range vertical: height/4; range horizontal: width/4). That's really a fake of real text pixel, so it uses just fast moves. Slow pixel spread would be discovered and looks terrible.

Really just for user who don't want to learn Lua/Auto4 :S

@sushidan108 It is because the include file doesn't exist.

Open the script file with notepad. and confirm a necessary include file.

and put the include file in the Aegisub's include folder.^^
