Prince Sahu: "Prince Sahuwei of Egypt; son of the god Wozercof, king of kings, lord of the two lands, conquerer of the east and west, and fabulous fisherman."
Big Bird: "Oh gee, you don't have a nickname, do you?"
@cstoczyn I don't think he created that; I heard that sound effect on old cartoons by Famous Studios from the 1940s and 1950s. Back then, Sesame Street would create some of their own sound effects, and use the Valentino Sound Effects Library for other sounds (such as that twang)
I started watching Sesame Street when I was 5, that was in the 90's. Big Bird was always my favorite character, apparently during the 80's and 90's he was everybody favorite. Now Elmo is everyone's favorite which makes me wonder, who was everyone's favorite during the first two decades of the series and who will be favored next after Elmo?
Gee, good thing they didn't say that really if your heart was heavier than the feather you got eaten by a crocidle/hippo/lion monster thing that I currently forget the name of.....
Oscar says he can't wait till the museum throws those statues away. Well, I doubt they will because they're very valuable even if they are broken. I've seen statues and artifacts in museums that are broken but are still proudly displayed.

I'm sorry, but I didn't like this when I was a kid, and I don't like it now. It very coy and simpy. It aired only once in '83 and once in '84, then we never saw it again. Now wonder.
Oscar's bit shows you the diffrence in shows. Back then, they'd show satutes with uncovered body parts. Now a-days? KEEP IT AWAY! It might pervert the children. (who watch worse with their family on regular tv...)
Oh!! that's what this is! I didn't remember that the "heart lighter than a feather" movie was the same as the "sesame street at the museum" movie!! So many questions, ANSWERED!
Those statues scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. Whoever thought about putting full frontal nudity in a kids movie anyway? At least I never thought about it back then...
Been many, many years since I've seen this, and it never gets old! Many of the little jokes that went over my head when I was a child, I can laugh at them now. :)
Well...This movie was supposed to little kids movie but their words are fancy which little kids don tunderstand but atleast little kids can understand the picture
Actually, little kids understand more "fancy" words than you think. For some reason people think little kids are all idiots and don't give them any credit for their intelligence...
Yeah, there's quite a difference between this special, and lots of kids shows nowadays - Sesame Street talked simply, but it didn't talk down to anyone. It expected the kids to keep up, so they did.
Oscar looked cute walking fast 0:50
