  • you need the pdi raven bore up cylinder head for it

  • @sparta435 It works fine now. It was because the PDI hop-up chamber screw came loose, and the nozzle jammed into the chamber, nicking it when it was out of true allignement. After this video, and using s slightly larger in diameter screw for the chamber, it is tight, and never came loose after that. I am using a K2 cylinder set. That set is extremely reliable!

  • anyone tried this for the vsr-10 yet?

  • Looks like u unscrewed the hop up screws too much and then they scratched up ur cylinder head etc.

Only problem ive had with the chamber/type96 is that it killed the little screw wich holds the mag catch and hop up chamber.

  • @CaitSithDK Yeah, this PDI Hop-up is an old one. Aproaching three years, and still working well! The scratches you notice are from all sorts of headaches I go through adjusting and fine tuning my rifle to shoot at 100 feet, by base-line distance. And for the problem with the screw that attaches to the mag catch? I used a slightly larger in diameter screw. Then thread lock it.

  • do you have trouble removing the hopup rubber from the chamber its self? i always feel as if the rubber gets messed up when i force it out or in.

  • @thagooseisloose Yeah, you have to be gentle to those o-rings in inserting, but removal, I use a simple pin needle. I have other videos on my Channel on how to remove and re-insert the o-rings, especially the dreaded small o-ring.

  • @808Kameleon no i mean the hop up bucking.. but yeah u just got my pdi today for my CA m24 and that little o ring is a bitch hah

  • @thagooseisloose OOPS! MY BAD! The bucking... You should use silicone oil for removing and inserting the new rubber bucking. I do have videos showing this also...

  • @808Kameleon yeah im not sure if its just the bucking i got or what but i feels old or something. the rubber seems like its dried out

  • @thagooseisloose Died out? Is this a new rifle, or a used one? The best thing to do is get a NEW hop-up bucking to work with the new PDI hop-up chamber. And as I mentioned, I do have other videos on the PDI hop-up chamber, the o-rings, and other issues....

  • @808Kameleon um i bought it new but, i just received a 6.03 tight bore PDI hop up and a Prometheus red hard hopup bucking and the bucking seems like dried out.. you know when o rings go old they feel like you can just rip them really easily? thats what it feels like

  • @thagooseisloose OK. The red HARD bucking. Believe it or not, I use the STANDARD AEG bucking. WHY? Hard bucking according to another Subscriber of mines, tears easily! He keeps tearing his, and I keep trying to insist he gives up the hard bucking for a standard medium. I never tear mines, when my rifle now is shooting 534 average FPS! Try replacing the rubber bucking to a medium, but do not get the soft.

  • @808Kameleon yeah thats whats happening to mine, thanks for all the help

  • that thing is expensive.......

  • @edwinli227 I got it from Japan LAST year when it was $63.00. NOW? Like over $74.00.....

    ;(

  • @808Kameleon I managed to get it last summer when it was still $53 on X-fire. AWESOME!

  • @Graymawr Now the price went way UP! The American Dollar keeps getting weaker against the Japanese Yen....

    ;(

  • good fix
