dude a good peircing place shouldnt do an ear peircing at an 8g. thats really big. the largest they are supposed to do it at is a 14g. and they arent called gauges, they are called plugs. its not called gauging its called stretching

I started my ears at a 6 (they where done by a professional) but i had tunnels right away i would hate the hoops. I defiantly recommend going to size 0 because anything less jewelry options are very limited. Most of the time you can get to 00 and the hole still will close all the way if you ever decide to take them out. Also be careful stretching, go slow. Ive seen some gnarly looking blow outs.

PS CLEAN THEM. I know common sense right? but they do tend to smell and get gross "ear cheese"
