  • The real Robert Johnson was creepier than this, he would be backed into the corner playing so people couldn't copy him. It still takes 2 people to play what Robert Johnson played. Even Eric Clapton needs an accompaniment to play Roberts songs.

  • unfortunately, this "Robert Johnson isnt left handed nor is he playing a slide...

  • nothing on TrackID, this version ain't something famouse

  • I'd for one would love to buy this!! If anyone can make an extended version of this song, message me on here:)

  • SUPERNATURAL!!!! (:

  • AHA! So thats what Justin Bieber have done... sold his soul to be ''good at singing'' and make kids love him... its all clear now ;D

  • @coolmage

yeah. seen it. he really did it

  • "Holy....guess again..."

    Love this episode <3

  • @luapsel77 type SuperNatural Blues Improvise my friend cover that.

  • Ok, here are some answers, and a question:

1.) It is a song written by Lennitz, the Music Co-ordinatior for the episode. This guy is just a studio blues musician, who got called in for the gig.

2.) It IS based on Robert Johnson's work, roughly on Crossroad Blues. It is a collection of Classic Blues hooks and licks. I haven't totally figured it out yet, but I WILL!

3.) Is there anyone out there who CAN PLAY IT, and would like to write it out into tablature?-- make a few bucks!

  • I swear i wish i could kill that godamn demon for ruining the godamn music.

  • Thanks Supernatural, you make me know this blues legend *__*

  • Why did you take Robert with you!!! Imagine he didn''t dead. He would be playing with BB King!! With a beautiful Les Paul and singing an awesome blues T_T

  • adoro robert .. johson

  • I love the way this intro sounds! I've listened to the Crossroad Blues song by Robert Johnson, but obviously it isn't the same. I know this piece is not a specific song, but does anybody happen to know if there is a longer or full version?

  • @drfeelgud88 well you might find something if you search a bit more.... i personally havent found anything of the sort :(

  • @Naruto0649 Yeah. I've searched a bit and haven't found anything. Read that it had pieces of a few songs in it, but not sure if that's correct. Hearing this, just makes me want to get my dad's guitar and start trying to play it (even though I don't know how to play guitar!) xD

  • @drfeelgud88 lolz xD

  • @Naruto0649

No, its not the same song as the original.

I believe this tune was composed by the artist who composes the scores for supernatural. His name is Christopher Lennertz. I have contacted him and are awaiting reply.

  • @GuitarNewZealand no one said it's the same as the original :)

  • @Naruto0649 not on this video. but many people think it is(:

  • @GuitarNewZealand First of all,I'm brazilian and fan of Supernatural .I was reading your comment and I'm interested by Christopher answer...did you get?

Then lern to play 32 20 blues, kindhearted woman, love in vain. Then listen to that and try repeat

  • @coolmage Me, too I´ve just taught myself it.

  • anyone know what song is this ?

  • @coolmage read the comments :)

  • This song isn't crossroad blues nor davey graham. It isnt even by robert johnson. Its just a blue improvisation. The chords are E,A,B.

  • He be hearing them hellhounds - oh shit, they're right outside!

  • This has to be one of my favorite episodes of the series. I freaking love Robert Johnson.

  • @curlywavy18 your not the only one :)

  • Crossroad blues, is a great song of Robert Johnson. Eric Clapton. John Mayer and others have already made a cover of this song. The epishode wants to show the supost "history" of Robert Johnson, his music talk a lot about devil, demons, corssroads and pacts, there are a lot of mistery in his history. (sorry about the terrible english)

  • who's play this song???!

  • Big Black Dog!

  • The song is definitely not exactly the same thing.. Duh, but it needed to be simple enough to contrast the intense paranoic fear he shows because he knows the hell hounds are coming for him. Watch the fricken episode before you try to criticize art. Everything is done for a reason.

  • Sounds more Davey Graham then Robert Johnson.

  • Sounds more Davey Graham then Robert Johnson.

  • @thekkl

can you say the name of the song pls?

    I wanna find it

  • @wuna4b as others mantioned in the comments if u have had time to read them before posting... the song is made only for the show its not a real one

  • @wuna4b I'm not sure if it even exists, I was just saying it sounds more like a Davey Graham song then a Robert Johnson song. If it does exist then I don't know it's name. I'll tell you it's not Crossroad Blues though.

  • that demon disturb the fucking song dammit!

  • @bagsekboy87 hahaha SO true man lol i totaly feel ya

  • Sure. The song is called "Cross Road Blues" by Robert Johnson.

  • facepalm

  • @TheAnbessa are u fucking STUPID???

I hate these retarded assholes, thinking the are so smart to give such answers.

ARE U FUCKING DEPTH?!?!?!? that piece has nothing to do with Robert Johnson's music, except may be the fact that this is blues too LOL

    omg they are so stupid...

  • @wuna4b dont mind with stuff like that

  • OMG could someone pls TELL me what song is he playing???

it can't be possible that they made this up specifically for that episode

  • Tabs?

  • @hash31 i searched all over but there are apparently no tabs... guess it was made specifically for the show

  • @Naruto0649 Look on Ultimate-Guitar.

  • @Naruto0649 Can you please tell me who is the artist playing this extraordinary great blues?

  • @ElvisStillRules

    robert johnson

  • @bojing747 It is not Robert Johnson who is playing. I know all of Robert Johnson's work. It is somebody else playing.

  • @bojing747 It is not Robert Johnson who is playing. I know all of Robert Johnson's work. It is somebody else playing.

  • @Naruto0649

It's Crossroad Blues via Robert Johnson. You'd have to add some of the flavour yourself.

  • @MattAlbie yea i fuggured that out but it sounds quite different... its been trimmed
