i bought a post nasal drip medicine yesterday called: Xlear Saline Spray with Xylitol. its getting better and got rid of my sore throat. someone at Sprouts recommended it.

Claritin won't help much for post-nasal drip... you should try a nasal steroid spray (prescription, e.g. Nasonex, Nasocort), and a nasal saline spray (two sprays each nostril in the AM e.g. on your way to the shower). Remember to aim the sprays towards the eye in each nostril (i.e. not directly back into the nose, which will cause the fluid to just drip down the back of your throat).

Well claritiin is for allergies mainly so I would try like robitussin lol. Just an idea.

well the cough was mainly from my laryngitis, but i do have allergies. and no worries, i called my dr. before hand and she said it was fine. but thanks. =]
