Playing it isn't the problem for good guitartist, nailing Tom Scholz tone is the problem. You just have to figure it out on your own, he has a very unique tone and he's always been guarded about. He has a Masters degree in Engineering from MIT. He holds many patents from his rockman amps and effects pedals to cameras from when he worked for polaroid as a chief design engineer before founding the band.
