The wonderful 'Yasmina of Cairo' wrote this choreography (she gave me and two other girls permision to perform the dance).
The song is called 'Tribute to Adaweya' which is on Yasmina's second album (I think), her band ( Fe'ret El Negoum' has released 3 albums and I highly recomend them all.
If you don't say who created it, people will assume it is yours. The choreography is the creation of the original dancer. You should always ask permission before performing someone else's choreo.
For example, if you learn the choreo at a workshop, if the teacher does not specifically say, "OK, perform this," you could ask. If where you are performing has a program, you could ask them to put in "Samara, performing to Betwannes Beek, choreography by Amira Mor" so the choreographer is properly credited. Just ask and give credit, that's all I'm saying.
What a fabulous choreography and song- if you don't me asking, what song is this? Good luck and keep dancing! xxx Bellydance Society, University of Reading xxx

unless they make their choreo public?
like cant you just say im performing this dance choreographed by whomever w/o asking?
or can you only do that if the choreo is put on a dvd specifically for students?
