  • Do u need internet to use mj

  • this is jason and you sir are an ASSHOLE.

  • @sarahc5542 Thanks!

  • Magic Jack works great.....Installed Dec 2010 paid for 2 years and next phone bill is not due till Dec 2012.

Sounds clear, has callers id, and voicemail that you can also play and check from your email.

Only downsides for me personally is that you have to restart the program sometimes when my computer takes an Windows update, and customer service is only by online chat......for the price and quality it is a great buy.

    Simple installation.

  • -security vulnerability: since computer must be on at all times and must run this application, there is a higher risk of security issues (i.e. viruses)

-does not include 16+ calling features you receive with other Digital Phone service

-Service will not work if computer is on sleep mode

-customer support is not available beyond online chat

  • -video capabilities not available

-not a viable replacement for traditional phone service

-required computer for use of phone service

-must install application on computer, be logged in, and online to receive/place calls

-in order to have 24/7 access to computer-based service, computer must be on at all times increasing the cost and shorten lifespan of the computer

  • I use this, mostly for work but whenever I need. It's been working great for maybe 2 years now.

  • ow. ly/4n7NG

  • based on your video I will order free trial of MagicJack. Thanks.

  • I've been using it for 2 years and am happy with it. I bought it with the sole purpose of it being a second line in the house for when I work from home on my computer. At first I used it with an older PC and it didn't work that well as the sound was choppy. I think system performance is important for call clarity. I did buy an IMac last year and have never had a problem with it in terms of clarity since. I think it's a great buy if you intend to use it as a second line.

  • Dang, that kind of sucks. They should make it where it rings and your PC turns on so you can receive your call.

  • @Ratacon2004 Hmm, that would be pretty cool, but it seems like your computer turning on would be a waste of energy. Or maybe your computer always has to be on for this majic jack to be on as well., I don't know, but I am going to buy one tomorrow or this weekend.

  • The computer has to be on so magic jack works?

  • @Ratacon2004 Yes, your computer has to be on. You also have to disable any sleep or hibernation. If the software freezes you have to unplug MJ, wait a moment, and plug it in again. It works, but it's not a good replacment for a home phone.

  • I've had magicjack for three years and it's been great !

  • this is a great video ... it helped me setup my magic jack ... thank u!

thanks to edel for giving me a magic jack too as a xmas present...

    God bless us all!

  • so let me get this straight, is all long distance free?

and after a year what happens, does it not workany more if you don't pay the fee?

and do you have to call or go to their website to sign up or register your jack?

  • NO SUPPORT FOR SERVER VERSIONS OF WINDOWS!!!!!! ONLY CLIENT EDITIONS!!!! HOW IS THIS A BUSINESS SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!! nothing to do with video just want it to be known...

  • Is it possilbe to change the number

  • @justin360101 yes...click the menu icon on the top left, goto advanced users, and then my magic jack, it will open a web browser that opens the my.magicjack. com, goto my subscriptions you will see a button that says change phone number ( i haven't tried it but i noticed it so i figured i would share the info)

  • Thanks

  • Does Magic Jack work on wireless laptops (HP/Compac? I don't have cable or Internet.

  • @mj4utube The MagicJack is a VOIP phone line which is Voice Over Internet Protocol so you will need a high speed internet connection with over 1 Mbps up and down other than that it will work with all netbooks laptops desktops with either a intel based mac or any client version of windows after and including windows xp

  • It Sucks! 2010. Costs 40 bucks and doesn't work well at all. On a Mac 10.4.11.

  • @omegaman416 is that a intel based mac?

  • use magicjack from australia to canada is FREE.. yes i send one to use in brisbane to montreal is free or canada to australia for $00.03 a mimute this is the best is good for haiti to canada to use free

  • MJ problems

    1) long distance is not free

    2) walk 30ft away from computer, itbreaks up

    3) no incoming calls can be obtained

    4) you can't keep your original number

    5) long install, that doesn't recognize passwords

  • @LukeWhitaker Question. What are you walking away from your computer with? The M/J plugs in to your computer and your phone line plugs into your M/J. Nothing portable. If you are referring to a cordless phone poor reception is entirely hand set and base unit problem. There is no wireless transmitter or receiver in a magic jack.

  • @LukeWhitaker this sound like a problem on your end

1 what do you consider long distance (usa and canada are free out side of us and canada simply register it in us or canada and mail it then it is free

2 that is not the magic jack that is the cordless phone you use that produces the signal that can be lost

3 did you verify the email within 2 days??

4 small price to pay the phone is 20 a year!!!!!!!!

  • @l3iohazard420 5 install time varies on computers capabilities... slow computer = long install and did you verify the email?

  • I would like to know how to delete the address you entered to start is from Costa Rica but now I need one of the United States there some program to delete all of the computer and start with new information thanks for your help

    Greetings allan@tie.cl send data.

  • nettalk is much better check it out nettalk dot com, you dont need to plug it in your computer.

  • Mcaffee sucks

  • I have the MJ and love it.The only problem I have at this moment is that long distance calls that were supposed to be free ,are NOT.I got only ammount of time I can talk and after that my calls are not going through and the computer says that I have no more time left ?! Why ??? It was supposed to be free !! Anyone ,can you help me with that ???? Any idea what happend ?

  • Very good demo. This proves it works. Wondering if it's long distance in the same area code? From a "land line" to Magic Jack user? It wants me to dail 1 + area code.

Thanks for the video. It seems MJ is only text comunication.

  • @dstarj1 product is ok but the "liveperson tech support" sucks its mostly automated and ther is NO other way to contact for support, R+D, or any other reason.....MagicJack tech support FAIL..........

  • this is a great product….gotta love saving money, and MAGICJACK SAVES MONEY…..GREAT PRODUCT…check out there stock (CALL), which is doing great on the nasdaq

  • Great video, but mine has a problem, it breaks up when i make calls. Sometimes it works, i have no idea wat to do anymore, i have a normal home phone. Someone told me that it might be the phone itself but i watched ur video and i have a similar phone... Help, anybody!!!!!

  • Renewal is $39.95 per year not $19.95. The initial advertising is very misleading which I find unethical. The device works well so if you don't mind being lied to than this device is for you. For myself, I don't do business with liars.

  • @ZeroCrossings777

You're wrong, I'm on my 2nd year of magicjack and i just paid 19.95 to renew the year again. The 39.95, is for the equipment and first year of service. So maybe you don't know anything

  • @ZeroCrossings777 this is a false statement when you click additional years at the bottom it says 1 year 19.95 and 5 years 69.95

  • In the TOS you agree that everything in your computer is fair game for them to know about, all web sites, email, and numbers called are their info. It's FULL of spyware. you also have to have your computer on 24/7 for it to work.

  • @djclintonk

That doesn't bother me what does is in the TOS you agree (upon installing it or w/e) that they can just end your account at any time... like for example if tomorrow MJ closes down they don't have to keep your line active.... sooooo.... im pretty much paying the $20 plan for now and i buy a new MJ a year from the store becuase i dont trust anyone w/ my cred card numbers ppl have reported they have been "auto renewing" w.o theyre permission so i pay in cash@store to be on safe side.

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang smart man i did the same... i dont even like giving them my address and name....its just like boost mobile got 7-11 and reboost with cash lol

  • 30-Day Trial Offer. Pay $19.95 a year for VOIP Phone.

    freetrial4you(dot)com/x/0/887/10460/

  • I am glad you finally got it working. I had to text their support center too when I was running Windblows. But let me clue you in. Microsoft is dying really quick. Google has their own OS now, and it is secure, nobody has broke into Google yet. For like 14 dollars per employee Goolge will come in and replace all the servers for free, which will kill Microsoft. We just dont need it anymore. Ubuntu will send you a free CD. Linux is complete and free, and works great. I use Google Chrome, with

  • @analyzingfunny open source is GREAT but far from secure and google os is too new to trust everyone though mac was hack proof and what did safari show .....WRONG....nothing is secure, sure some things are more secure than others but when anything first comes out it looks great but has flaws... look at vista lol...microsoft will always be in the market...google android is already unsafe which is why netflix has yet to be released to android...

  • For windows firewall... put these ports in the exception tab as well... TCP 80, TCP 443, UDP 5060, UDP 5070.... thats what fucking fixed this shit after hours and hours of shit help. lenny in chat support suxed all he did was double post shit and say we cannot help you becuase we have determined the source of the problem is ur hardware"(FUCK YOU!!!!!)... shit's working fine now...no thanks to lenny and Josh(they sucked ass and past me on when they got tired of me telling them no my stuff works).

  • Tell us how you really feel about their support. I hate dealing with that BS and end up figuring out on your own. You'd think they have dudes that know what issues the user will have and could help you figure it out. but since its easier to tell you that your shit is whats messed up then they don't have to do jack at that point. Good for you man!!

  • @deze2000

It takes a while becuase they level up. Like u get tier 1 support wich basically means people who are pretty much computer ileterate (spelt wrong),,, and they're very scriptive and repetative as they keep sending you up the latter until u reach a supervisor wich will be more tech savy and know more things. A supervisor was the one who gave me the port numbers while the other Cust Service agents pertty much kept telling me my stuff is broken now it works fine(w/ same hardware). :/

  • @deze2000

All in all deze i was very angry frustrated and so on... but now everything has been working fine for months with no problems and im really happy with my phone service being magic jack@$20/yr its a steal. The cust service can be better like they can train ppl better in my opinion to avoid hours of scripts and bullshit until u get to a supervisor becuase they try to avoid sending u to 1 if they think the script can solve the problem u have 2be persistant and put ur foot down w/'em.

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang AUTOMATED!!!!!!! ITS FUNNY IF YOU ASK IF THEY ARE A REAL PERSON THEY START MAKING TYPOS

  • for those having a shit fuck load of clicking and skipping (like me)... just try forwarding these ports...it took these mother fuckers 4HRS to get to this point....they kept trying to blame my phone my hard ware sound card...me knowing something abt computers (like for example my shits working even windows says its working) was what led me to a solution after a shit load of reps that sucked ass i finally got 1 rep that was USEFULL... this was what worked FORWARD Ports 5060(UDP), 5070(UDP)

  • magic jack isn't better than a landline... but i have it and it works so its what i stick to cuz its cheap.... i get cracks pops skips and so on during phone calls.....i even get dropped calls at times. It's not a good service in my eyes but for $20/year im sold. If you can deal with the ocassional pops during convos(it will happen from time to time) then its fine for you. It also tends to hate when your multitasking... I have a REAL FAST connection 6MG/Second...so yeah it shudnt pop@this speed

  • it works for me

  • Lol, you hung up on him =s

  • Have you noticed the same two people are posting the same two negative comments on all the MagicJack videos? Interesting.

  • Dont buy this product!!! This is the Worst product i have ever used!! It feature mediocre quality and very poor customer support!! The worst customer support available!! So do yourself a favor save the time and headache and dont buy this!!

  • i have no regrets, it was worth it to me just wish i could call the uk though!!!

  • what password r we gonna use when it ask to register..does this work only in US or in Asia too?

  • oh Coo...

  • wow soon as i pluged it in it poped up on mine

  • magicjack is a strip down version of phone service. it is not capable of sending or receiving any Fax transmissions. I had connected it to my fax machine but it did not work their customer service is not able to offer any help at this time . after about 2 years they still cannot transfer my phone number.

  • its so easy to use.. i love mine :)

  • what if you have two phones will magic jack work for two phones?

  • sounds like I did a good thing by not bothering with this crap...

  • @pipersmitty why? it worked

  • It takes a few minutes the first time. I tried it and use it with Google Voice. But one thing they say is "download in progress". It does NOT download anything to your computer, but an icon. It is simply plug and play. It works great, my only complaint is all the graphics eat up my memory (i have an XP box). But I imagine with plenty of memory it would run just fine in the backround. A great invention.

  • @analyzingfunny

i have plenty of memory...(4GB ram and a AMD Turion x2 wich is more or lesss like a dual core Pentium)...it doesn't slow my pc down... but its not perfect... landline owns this bigtime even cell phones dont skip so much in calls but the call quality is better than cellphone(clearer voice) at least until it skips/pops.

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang You do know that Google just opened up Google Voice to the public this week. Just create a Google Account and get Voice with it. Then Download Gizmo to recieve all you incomming calls. Outgoing calls are free as well. I gave up on Magic Jack, since I now use Linux. MJ just wont release a Linux version, so fuck'em. I say get GV. It rocks.

  • @analyzingfunny

oh...what? i heard abt this but what do u mean? Is google voice good enough to make a perminant phone? cuz i need a business phone man this is my main phone it's kinky sucky and theres a new phone magick jack imitation that plugs into ur router(works while pc off) but the pricing is complete **** so thats a hell no. Yeah MJ said they're releasing a linux patch but they said that MONTHS AGO!!! Linux can officially use it thru VM's but thats a pain in the ass :/

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang Yes. Google Voice is enough to make permanent incoming phone line, even with Linux. MJ did say months ago. how hard can it be? But GV is free unlimited calls out and in through Gizmo. See, GV gives you a free local #, & u can forward calls to 6 different #'s. When youget Gizmo, it comes with a fake phone number, you enter that as one of your forwarding #'s. I have MANY GV numbers. Every computer in your office can have its own phone number.

  • @analyzing

yeah the creator of magic jack seems to have his head up his ass w/ lin spprt. customer support is crap. all my bashing said it's a great little device for me becuz im on a budget. I fixed alot of the cracking popping by ticking the Air Card 3G (im on wireless with a 6mg connection btw)...i get alot of disconects and dropped calls from time to time. I had less dropped calls w/ a cellphone(i had good signal in my home) than with magic jack. Gizmo sounds complicatd what is it?

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang Easy as pie!

  • @analyzingfunny

hey i finally fixed my magic jack it took like 4hrs of text chatting with over 3 supervisors (one just dropped out of the chat without saying bye and pushed me onto another supervisor)... after 4 hrs... it turns out my router was fucking with it.. i had to forward ports (although i had tryed this in the past w/ techs and it didnt work) i had DMZ enabled wich shud open all ports... anyhow i forwarded ports in windows fire wall and router settings now it actually works fine...

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang

btw i know enabling DMZ is dangerous (DeMiliterizedZone) but it was the only way to make it work now its disbld.1st tech i chatted w/ was clueless after we tried everything we could! After a few months later i had trouble after it working FINE (problem popped out of no where WTF?) but a supervisor on the chat thing helped me after 2 top rated supervisors gave up 1 finally helped me. 1 was a dick and kept double posting(repeating) instructions & tried to say he cudnt help.

  • Question: You plugged your phone into it. Did you need a duplex jack and extra telephone line for this so that the phone could also be plugged into the wall, or does the jack run the entire telephone without it being plugged into the wall at all?

  • no u don't need an extra line. Just plug the phone into the magicjack and plug the MJ into the computer. I use it and it works, on problems!!

  • your computer has to be on when you are using the majic jack. dont get majic jack their customer service is so bad and they will automatically renew your service everytime it expires. meaning your credit card will be charged withoud you telling them you wan to renew, they will decide for you. get the net talk tk6000 instead. initial cost is $100 but its lifetime and it works without having to connect to your pc. it connects direct to your router or modem

  • tk6000 here I come. Oh and btw,..it wasn't a 2yr my wife was dooped into. It was 5yr. : ) They still will not issue me credit although we called IMMEDIATELY after it happened. They say they were going to issue credit back but sent another magic jack instead then charged us for it. Its just been a web of lies with this company.

  • hello? you hear that? hahah

  • CHEAP PEOPLE

  • wow thats bs they said just put it in your pc and then phone line to it and thats it they lied you have to register it and all that an old lady cant do that like they said im watching the commercial now lol

  • It's works really good, happy with customer services able to chat online

  • Lol you had to cut cause you couldn't figure out who to call, sorry:P

  • if you messed up during the video, cut that part out, it is of no use to see that.

  • this think actually works lol im using it right now its not scam

  • @ControlUreFeelings - It is a scam. Everything is fine until you have to reup for the next year. Thats where the scam takes place. They try so hard to get you into a multiple year plan that they'll bombard you with pop ups while placing your order. Anyway my wife was tricked into placing a 2yr when all she wanted was a 1 year. We called to have this reversed and thats where the problems began. They ask you to explain the problem over and over and they hand you off to other reps. This is

  • @KobeSpawn - Keep in mind this is via chat. After they put you through the cycle of reps and explaining over and over the situation and you still happen to be on line,...they start putting you on hold for long periods of time,...via chat. THen they simply go dead. I've talked to them over 5x now at 2hrs each and to no avail. I finally seen where they canceled the order. Now i have to go and try to get the charge reversed. Its been over 3 months. If not? i'm stuck with a charge and no service

  • in my case they automatically renewed my subscription when i already have a net talk and i dont need my majic jack anymore...this company is pain in the ass

  • Cannot receive calls from local land lines. Customer support is a joke. After several hours on seperate occasions, and many promises for a fix, still nothing. I was also promised than an "engineer" would email me with a fix. 65 days later, still nothing.

  • this is for long distance and calls with toll charges. you still need a landine if the power goes out.

i don't have this yet but it could work like a mobile phone if you have a laptop and pull into a library or wifi spot and make calls there.

  • magic jack more like magic crap

  • No I do not work for a telecompany you jackass!!! Magic Jack is the biggest ripe off of all with no money back on extra years purchashed, and the biggest scam of all!!!!!!!

  • can you call to mexico using magic jack?

  • it says u could call worldwide

  • Caution!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will cost more than you think.

If you aren't satisfied with the service

    A) they will refund you the cost of the jack

    b) THEY WILL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY SPENT ON ADDITIONAL FEATURES SUCH AS A PHONE NUMBER OR MULTIPLE YEARS OF SERVICE PAID UPFRONT.

They also have no live customer service only a live chat. No complaints department. No phone number! You'd think they could afford a phone number after they rob you blind.

  • Magic is a rip off, we get dissconected during conversations, it shuts it's self off and we have to keep unplugging and plugging it back in to get it to work for at least five minutes. Don't waste your money, the owners should be throwen off the roof. What a scam. What out, the makers are the biggest scamers of all!

  • You must work for a telecom company who is losing tens of thousands of customers to Magic Jack. The fact of the matter is that the device works as advertised for 99% of the people out there.

  • how the hell did vid get 5 stars

  • Great video... I just got my magicjack and love it!

  • its kewl but it sucks that the computers has to be on 24/7. you better go to the library to use this cuz its going to be expenvise when you get your energy bill real clever. NOT!!!

  • a 550w pcu on a computer 24hrs a day..is less then 1$

  • does magic jack works in guam?

  • I have installed magicjack but on my softphone the number I chose has never appeared. Anyone have any idea what to do?

  • DUDE...who gives a shit about how u registered! U could have done this much faster, more informative by skipping u screwing up the plugging in of the MagicJack and ur other issues...

  • the problem you have to live u r computer on and thats gone cost u r electric bill

why they don't just make the magic jack that can conect to router u don't have to use de computer for the conection

  • so if i am in dubai can i call my family in florida for free as well ???

  • I use magic jack and it works great if you have a fast internet connection and a fast computer. as far as energy goes, turn off the computer at night and check your email in the morning for voicemail from magic jack. I use magic jack and a regular cell phone. No Cons

  • the computer has to be on all the time to receive calls I assume? I have a couple of laptops and they go to sleep when not being used.

  • who the hell still uses a lanline?

  • @dgallegos4201 everyone lmao

  • I have no idea the crap system he's using but... I just got one today, plugged it in, installed within seconds and was on the phone within 5 minutes with crystal clear clarity on both ends. No problems, works as advertised.

  • I got the magic jack to work making phone calls quite easily also. BUT, it still has a problem. It takes over the audio of other applications on my computer and messes them up - and the only way to fix it is to restart the computer.

To summarize, the magic jack functions very nicely as a phone, but it interferes with the audio drivers on many other applications used on the computer. It is not compatible with other applications which use audio.

  • Virtualbox. Use it.

  • can i use magicjack to call in Africa?if yes how much i gonna pay (month/year)

  • 19.95 a year

  • lol wow a lot of magic jack advertisers posting in these comments.

    crazy.

  • As an avid network administrator and computer technician, I have encountered countless problems with these in the workplace. They provided no uninstall application until recently and it seems once the software stops working on a particular computer, it will never work again. If you're having troublefree operation, consider yourself lucky. In my experience, this is a horrible, misleading product that needs to have a taste of corporate justice.

  • can i used magic jack even i dont have landline? but i have internet connection, tnx

  • yes.

  • yea

  • I have the magicjack and it's great. And I'm saving over $400 a year.

  • I love it! I had Vonage for a while and I thought that was awesome compared to having AT&T phone service. And then I got MajicJack, it's so unreal not paying a phone bill and being able to use my phone anywhere with WiFi! I can take my netbook and MajicJack to iraq and make normal phone calls like I am back home! this is awesome! I am sending one to family that is over seas that can't call home.

  • So can I use the phone service anywhere? I have a laptop and I am wondering if I am traveling can I use my phone there

  • you should be able to use it anywhere you have a unrestricted internet connection, im not sure what ports or what protocol magicjack uses (sip probably?)

  • Makes calls 100% but won't receive calls, all go to voice mail..

  • I live in USA and I bought 3 of these for my relatives in the Philippines and all of them worked fine.

  • Do you have to have a phone line to use this?

  • if you have internet then you can use this, no phone line required

  • if u have internet thats not dial up

  • DOES anybody know how to get the stupid magic jack pop up every time someone calls?

  • Install 4T Tray Minimizer and the control panel won't pop up every time somebody calls

  • Thank you so much. great to not have the pop up each time. MILLION thanks!

  • I personally just bought this product. Here is what I found.

    Pros!!!

40.00 include product and 1 year of phone service.

Unlimited long distance in all 50 us states.

20.00 USD each year after your 1st initial year.

    CONS;

    1) YOUR COMPUTER HAS TO STAY ON AT ALL TIMES TO USE THIS PRODUCT.

    2) IF YOU FORWARD YOUR CALLS TO A CELL, WHEN COMP IS DOWN, YOU MUST DISABLE CALL FORWARDING AFTER COMP/ MAGIC JACK IS TURNED BACK ON.

    3) RUNNING A COMP. AT ALL TIMES RACKS UP A ENERGY BILL VS SOMETHING ELSE.

  • You mean u only have to run ur computer when ur making calls right. I'm assuming that, when ur away, and u want to recieve calls ,you also have to have it on?

  • If your computer is off, you can't receive calls. BUT you will get an email with the voice-mail as an attachment.

  • ever wondered there could be blind people too who might refer to the instructions like me!!

  • I heard many bad things about this but said oh well and tried it, works great!

  • Can I use Magic Jack in Saudia Arabia?

  • You can if you use a USA phone number to call anyone in the US. as for SA to SA calls it will cost extra, international fee's apply. I have heard of a US Troop in IRAQ was able to call his family from IRAQ as if he was next door to them, no loss in quality. But for whatever reason North Carolina isn't in the database of Area codes.

  • yup, but you can only call the numbers in USA and Canada

  • how do you do this thing, i tried everything how do you plug it into the wall

  • i need to know something please reply me as soon as possible thanks my question is if you need to have your computer on or off to make and receive calls with the magic jack?

  • Computer needs to be on.

  • I would consider that drawback... since computers use quite a lot of electricity. Hopefully they'll come out with a version of the device that can run withouth the computer being on.

  • Maybe a new one you use through the modem connection.

  • i'm really fond of phone system and it's services i don't care if it's through VoIP,Payphone,Prepaid, WiFi,Cell,Landline,CB/Ham, Satellite Phone, or phones through a printer and a car ,Cisco run video conference, any is good no matter what price and type of transmission, but this is good moving from landline to VoIP because evry1 use Internet these days all for 1 payment is good Iphone is good example for the long run :)

  • did they pay you to say that?

  • This is the best 40 bucks I ever spent. I never have problems with it. Make sure you have a good internet connection and a good computer. It even worked great while uploading videos to youtube.

  • I have windows xp home edition version 2002 service pack 3.computer:AMD SEMPRON(TM)2400 +1.67 GHZ,240MB 0F RAM.WILL MAGICJACK WORK WITH THIS OLDER SYSTEM?

  • i have a Magicjack, and personally i love it. my favorite feature is being able to set the Magicjack to automatically forward the calls to a cell phone. get a prepaid phone and put the least amount of minutes on it you can, then when someone calls you call them back with magicjack. i was paying $40 a month for phone service but now i pay $10 and that also pays for my cell. i don't understand why people are complaining.

  • HOLY CRAP!!! did u notice that every comment that has anything negative to say about the magicjack always gets thumbs down???

    Suspicious........

  • GOD blesses you!!

I want to know if with the magi jack a person in mexico and I in rep Dominican we can communicate without problems. Grace(thanks) friend..

  • yes, if both of you have magic jack you can call each other with no problem, it's like you guys have both a US phone number but live outside the US.

My wife took magic jack with here on an overseas trip, and she call to our home phone number with no problem, the quality is amazing, but I suggest not to use the internet while you are on call

  • RTFM

  • must have a clean computer to work right

  • can someone help with the echo I get on the magic jack, customer service didn't help at all

  • Try a different phone

  • Great product, just bought it yesterday, but not going ot keep it, cuz you have to leave your computer on and signed in at all times for the MJ to work
