  • Wwell Cryengine 2 has implemented realtime AO into there enviroments........then again Cryengine 2 has pretty much everthing (except physics) perfect

  • hey u can take a caracter from blender and use in other programs? or use other stuff and add to blender? like this program... ZBrush if u sculped some nice body parts then u cod add it to Blender and shortof make a movie that wold kick ass!

  • yeah I think this is SSAO. It fakes ambient occlusion maps in real time based on data from the Z buffer

  • No, this is not ssao. It computes per vertex AO in realtime, using a disc-based representation of the models, and then displays it using a shader.

    Arkano22 is correct, this is just a demo from a chapter in GPU Gems 2, pick it up, and read it. It is written by Bunnell when he was at Nvidia. It is not SSAO, it is not pre-baked texture based (huge memory).
