The DVD release is in chronological order. And besides, the Jap school year starts in April, unlike over here in Britian where it's September, so that would be logical to a point.

watch in it english then thats what i did...some voices are better in english for anime and some are better in japaneese.

English dub is usually for the 90% of the time worse than the original or other language subs, never really liked the choice of voices and how the dub it in english

Its not called that its called "the melanochy oh haruhi suzumiya" well that's what the anime is called but the series of magna's and novel's that came first are called suzumiya haruhi no yuutsu.
