很多年前的一位香港的士司機給我說的.
不過那位司機大佬說的是呂大成.
又知情者可告知, 呂紅的父親是呂文成或是呂大成呢.

如果攪錯了，把歌詞中的「棹」字當「桌」字解：桌子是用木材製造，會浮在水面的。

我系泰国粤籍华人，细细个受老爸舅父影响，酷爱粤曲，还稍记得78转唱片有何大傻的大傻卖猪，刘克宣的大乡里艳史，徐柳仙的原来我误卿。。。没想到50多年后再次能听到那个年代的粤曲。。太兴奋了！多谢Zoundcracker...我还希望，能再次听到新加坡歌星。。秦淮的歌曲！！！！

老弟, 人家作詞者, 未死最少也100歲了, 老學究一名.
再者從小就聽過這些歌的人, 也最少50歲的了, 那時在香港的一般的學生都中國古文學, 文言文, 詩詞歌賦的愛好及鑽研, 又豈是現今的學生可以理解的呢.
備駐: 我說的主軸是香港, 因為畢竟這首歌的產地是香港. 而言些歌50-70年代初的香港電台及香港商業電台都常播出者.
