  • Hey great videos please keep them coming. What is your burner setup like?

  • Nice! StillCooker - on the web

  • Go to the following website: ttb(dot)gov/spirits/faq.shtml#s7 and read the answer to question #7

You cannot produce spirits for beverage purposes without paying taxes and without prior approval of paperwork to operate a distilled spirits plant. [See 26 U.S.C. 5601 & 5602 for some of the criminal penalties.]

  • ok seriously people .. . you dont need a licence if you dont sell your product into commerce. all the laws of the nation are predicated on two principles, HARM in fact that must have occurred. or Commerce and the commerce clause is 99% of the laws because commerce dosn't require due process to regulate see Wickard v Filburn 317 US 111 "it is hardly a lack of due process to regulate that which the government subsidies" see also George Gordon for how to run a private business w/ out licence

  • @OrganicDrew I am concerned that people may be taking your legal advice. I am not a lawyer however: IRS Code 26 USC 5601 prohibits the unlicensed use of a still for either public or private use.

In addition states regulate stills. My state Texas requires a DISTILLER'S AND RECTIFIER'S PERMIT

  • @badvegan I know a Federal District Judge and he's told me otherwise, The Federal and State Governments are limited by the rights of the people. It is a right to distill alcohol not a mere privilege. The IRS has codes and they apply to the commercial use be it private or public. "bet you thought you had to be public to be commercial" If you use Federal Reserve Notes then you are subject to the code, or if you have a SS Number or EIN or TIN number. See Hale v. Hinkel Page 201 U. S. 74

  • @OrganicDrew dude you're wrong. It's RIGHT THERE on the ATF website. No legal for distribution OR private use. .. BUT of course who the fuck listens when all you need is a pressure cooker lol.. it's a fraud law that anyone with a brain recognizes as a non-issue.

  • @OrganicDrew distilling for consumption is illegal... period...

you can get a lisence to make ethanol for fuel, its something like 10000 gallons a year for fuel use... ;)

  • @mageac I got the license and it's $600.00 here in Ga. All spirits have to be distilled into a minimum 1% gasoline container. You can't run your alcohol into a clean container. Get caught with pure alcohol, and your through!, it's $5000.00 fine and posible license revoked........... I pay (89 cents) a gallon for E85 ; )

  • @OrganicDrew Wickard v. Filburn ranks right up there with the Jim Crow laws.

  • DUDE SERIOUSLY AUDIO CONTROL>> its up and down and up again!

  • how can i make it so i can run my car on it

  • interesting

  • Any advice for getting a distilling license?

  • @Uriel585 its not worth it...

  • @Uriel585 Start with $5000. After the license and food product manufacturing license (yes, you need one of those, too, in most states) you might make $2000...

  • @DrMotorDude I have a still and am practicing with vodka. For the paperwork, I was told around $2500 (I am in Canada) and right now, I get ride of maybe 30-40 bottles a month from a smaller version of what I would like to build. I am not looking for a get rich quick. I am contemplating doing it as a business. For me, that is the goal, as I can move it. The taxes are what would kill me.

  • Tht the legal kind cuz legal kind is nasty

  • 500 gallons
